Yes, my main reason for doing that is that I didn't want to turn the fight into a shootout. That's why he couldn't use his arrow, and Batman opted for not using any of his various projecile gadgets.

I agree Cap should win that fight, his superpowers are to much. But to be fair the Arrow went up against and beat Deathstroke and he has a similar power set as cap. Also you're a bit harsh on the choreography. Granted its not always great but you can't expect it to always be so, remember it is just a T.V. series, so they won't have the time or budget to continual have the fights scenes we may want.

Did Batman go head to head with Superman without a plan or his gadgets? No, why? Because if he did it would be a short fight. I think the same logic applies here, maybe not to the same extent but you can't have a normal person go up against someone who can flip a motorcycle over his head or has bullet resistant skin without some sort of equalizer. (I.E. kryptonite and/or exhaustion)
Although batman would win any way I think it was unfair for Oliver to lose his bow at the start of the fight that's like batman without his utility belt

It definitely stands out from other who would win videos like the one I made a few days ago haha I would've liked to have seen more scenes from the actual movies and tv series but I understand that could be to avoid copyright. I would like to see MCU Batman vs DCEU Batman (though Cap would prolly win). Or maybe a Spider-Man movie Battle Royale.

i like the fact that DCEU batmans age was taken into account giving him a disadvantage in speed due to his age but also giving him an edge in being a far more skillful fighter than Oliver , I also the fact that batman is far better armoured than arrow (took him four seasons to even start wearing Kevlar plates) and that it was taken into account clearly a well thought out video and very entertaining

I think though that Oliver has more options, he has shown many others martial arts skills and he has shown to be very good at difficult situations such as making comebacks, the fact that he is very acrobatic and has his flechettes is an advantage, he has used them while performing flips. I really would give the fight to Oliver because of his speed and different options he has, because despite he doesn't have the experience Batman has, he has the advantage of being way younger and super experienced for his age, but anyways really liked your video man!

Batman. Hands down Batman. Green Arrow isn't that bad at fighting but in battle, Batman is a master in every single fighting style and could easily drop Arrow without even using prepping time.

Long time no see. I've given ideas in the past and I'm giving one now. John Wick vs. Jason Bourne. I believe John Wick would win even without guns, because he's a great grappler and while Jason is great at standing combat, John seems to have an edge in that too. He's been seen breaking a professional assassin's neck with a single strike, using the knives of multiple different assassin's against them, killing people stealthily with either his hands or a knife, and has a high proficiency or even mastery with a garrote wire, disarming an assassin with one while he was killing him with it. I know Bourne is great with improvised weapons, but while he used a pen in one of his fight scenes against an assassin, Wick killed two assassins with a pencil fairly quickly, with that part taking little time in the fight scene. Also, we know he's killed three off-screen with a pencil. With a gun, there is no contest. I know Bourne is good at disarms, but trying to disarm a professional grappler isn't a good idea. I know it sounds like I have my mind made up on this, but I would like to hear your opinion on it, as well as a different perspective. If that takes to long, at least do a fight scene breakdown of a Wick fight (there have been two John Wick movies already.) Also, have you done a Kingsman fight?(church fight) That's all the video ideas for now, right them in your book of "Idea's Fan's Give Without Realizing I'm Busy." Update: I got my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. It was slow, but I got there. Now I'm thinking about learning a grappling art. Any suggestions? I'm not going to quit practicing Tae Kwon Do, but I hear (from your videos) that it's good to have proper ground game.

I had an interesting conversation with a friend of mine. he posited that if i had pissed off a powerful organization and they wanted me dead in a night, who would defend me? I thought about it, and went with Bourne, as he is excellent at evasion and hiding.

BTW, about your question, it's a little tricky, because it depends on many factors (you could choose a style and find a school/instructor not so proficient/not matching you), and more than everything, it depends on the availability of martial arts/MMA schools in your area. I'm a Karate black belt myself, and i've been wondering if it would be good to compliment it with a grappling art, but i can't decide right now. Still, probably Judo is the way to go. It's likely you'll find a school, probably a good one, almost everywhere, and that art will teach you grappling starting from the standing position, to the takedown, to the ground fighting, pretty evenly. The whole package

@Colton Pannell Read Batman endgame. He literally fought the entire justice league. Also, in Justice league doom, Batman’s plans to kill the justice league are stolen by the Legend of doom. Who then uses them directly on the justice league. They would have succeeded, if Batman wasn’t there to stop it. There is also an audio of Batman talking on CZcams, where he explains how to take down each and every member of the justice league. Not just the main Superman, WW, GL, Flash, Martian Manhunter, and aqua man. But so many more. Just look up: “Batman explains how to take down the justice league”.
Excellent video, but over the next year and some change could you please eventually do the ACTUAL " how many fighting styles do they know" videos on Blade, Black Panther, Deadpool, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Green Goblin, Iron Man, the Black Widow, Neo from The Matrix, Wonder Woman and The Black Mask. I'm a very big fan of your work and I learn a lot from those videos not to mention the fight choreography that those specific characters are depicted with is really impressive, some of it seeming even deadly and effective. It would be a hell of a birthday gift to a big fan my dude lol.

I love this new approach! The first person perspective detailing Bruce's reactions to seeing an experienced fighter... that's actually something I've wanted to see in a Batman movie or game for a long time. Bats is insanely good at what he does; I'd LOVE to get a peek inside that head. It helps that you have a pretty solid Affleck impression, too.

I agree with the verdict, but I'll add another reason why Batman win this fight: gear. Even if they just use hand-to hand combat, it's painfully clear that Batman's equipment, be it his coal, his gauntlets, etc... are FAR more durable than Arrow's. Not only is he stronger than Arrow's, but he also has the gear to further enhance that strength difference.

Yes, but you didn't eliminate his protective gear, just his weapons. He still has his gauntlets, boots and coal, and that alone gives him a far better advantage than any of Arrow's enemies thus far.
I mean, just one punch from those reinforced gauntlets could probably kill him if he delivered the punch full force. That's not to say that Arrow is weak or not resistant - he is - but it would probably be akin to getting smacked in the face by a bowling ball

In terms of combat at any range i don't really think the CW Arrow can do anything to the DCEU Batman. He may get two to three blows in but that would be it. Oliver has never faced anyone on par with this Batman, not even Deathstroke.

Bro to be honest this Version Of Arrow is OP in comparision to the Comic book Arrow. This Batman is Slightly weaker ... if not as strong. Take away all the gear.. Make Oliver Queen Fight Bruce Wayne....and then this would be a fair fight. Batman still wins but onky barely.

How so? He tired with Merlyn, he tired with Dark, he tired with Ra's....he gets tired quite a bit. It's normal, that's human.

Batman wins very easy... he lifted 705 lbs with one hand, made pull up with 220 lbs to his belt. He broke through a wall with bare hand and launched adult men like dolls. He fighted against 24 mercenaries without bow, without Diggle and without a team.

Richard Dragon the reason why Daredevil is "a better fighter" in the MCU is because Finn Jones only got a moth or so to train and they couldn't have a stunt double because he doesn't have a mask. There are few people who can actually win a fight with Iron Fist in hand to hand comba, they tried to do that with Iron Fist, but the combination of the fight scenes basically being made up on the spot, and Finn Jones only getting a small period of time to train is what made the fight scenes look meh

Oliver survived on an island for 5 years. With just some training from Deathstroke. Batman was trained by Ra's al Ghul for 10 years. He has beaten Ra's al Ghul and left the league of assassins without getting killed. He has beaten Deathstroke, the Joker, Mr Freeze, Penguin, Two-Face, The Riddler anyone. Which proves he is the better fighter. And in terms of strategy. No-one compares to Batman. How do you think he embarrasses the Riddler.

Yeah, Oliver has been at this for 10 years now. Long enough to say he's also seen it all. Maybe not the been there done that a million times like Batman but he's definitely seen it all. He's fought and beat metahumans and people of equal or greater skill countless times. I wouldn't say experience would be a deciding factor in a loss here. I would say more so to a lack of billion dollar equipment and a lucky sequence on Batman's part from his own experiences. And even then it's pretty even in my opinion.
Fitness isn't a factor as Oliver trains equally hard, albeit differently. And he's peak human as well since he can one hit bad guys also. The only factor here is that Oliver doesn't wear body armor. His suit is Kevlar mixed with leather I think. Batman is wearing some space age titanium alloy crap and has better gadgets. Oliver is more ninja/Spartan. He's elusive to wear you down or psych you out then he just goes at you and squares off until one of you goes down.
we are comparing live action you keep on bringing things up from the comics. in the dceu do we really know that he has mastered every single martial arts plus let's not forget Batman is old he is in his late 40's while Oliver queen is at his prime. on top of that we have seen Oliver take out people like deathstroke, Prometheus, ra's al ghul, Damien darhk. deathstroke is enhanced and Damien has fucking magic. also he has sufficient experience Batman has 20 years of experience while arrow has 10 years that's actually a good amount of experience for both but again let's not forget Batman is old and slower even he admits it himself he says to Alfred "I'm getting slow in my old age" and Oliver again is at his prime

As it stands right now, I just don't see much difference in amount of styles, prowess, etc. Main difference is Oliver is younger and doesn't have the kind of toys Batman does or armor. I imagine if we got this green arrow on the big screen it wouldn't be that far off in how cool they look fighting. They've both fought immortal people, metahumans, ninjas, people of greater or equal skill, etc. I don't doubt that if Oliver was in place of Batman in BvS and also had kryptonite, that it wouldn't be much different fight aside from having a super suit. I think he would've been able to fight even better against Doomsday considering his ranged style. I know that's all off topic but let's be honest, they're pretty close to equal. It comes down to toys, endurance, and strategy. Batman takes toys, I'd say Oliver tops out on endurance. And that they're kind of equal in the strategy department. It's just a lucky shot to take this
Batman has the most important thing a super-hero can have. Invincible plot armor.
I still think he would win, but I also think that he's one of the most superpowered/overpowered characters in the whole DC universe, both comics and DCEU movies. The level of plot armor he has is astounding. The only thing that redeems it is that he's a cool character regardless.

Let's put a stop to this right now guys. The simple truth is.... This fight would've only lasted a few seconds. Batman would've shoved Oliver's Arrows up his ass. This isn't even a real fight. Poor Olly would've been dead by now, especially if he was dealing with BvS Batman. Batman would've killed him the moment he got in contact with him. So please, with all due respect to Green Arrow, even if this was season 1, 2 or 10 version of him for all I care... There's no way he would beat Batman. At most, he'd get a solid hit in from pure luck or if he actually Could catch Batman but surprise.. but that's about it.
You'd be surprised how many people would say the exact same thing about Arrow.

Byron Riblet we are comparing live action you keep on bringing things up from the comics. in the dceu do we really know that he has mastered every single martial arts plus let's not forget Batman is old he is in his late 40's while Oliver queen is at his prime. on top of that we have seen Oliver take out people like deathstroke, Prometheus, ra's al ghul, Damien darhk. deathstroke is enhanced and Damien has fucking magic. also he has sufficient experience Batman has 20 years of experience while arrow has 10 years that's actually a good amount of experience for both but again let's not forget Batman is old and slower even he admits it himself he says to Alfred "I'm getting slow in my old age" and Oliver again is at his prime

Batman wins because he's more skilled. And his fortitude is a lot stronger! CW Oliver is more skilled than any other CW character you can think of. But, he doesn't have what it takes to beat somebody that wants to be best at everything he does. Batman wouldn't hold back at all. And his morality will be tested, Oliver is not afraid to kill. So, this will be a interesting match up.
Brett Jackson Arrow had 5 years of training, been through some things. But Batman has way more feats, he beat the whole justice league and Darkseid with one hour of preparation
