You do know that you have to activate the turn signal function in order for them to work!
I have the same truck, and my turn signals work perfectly. Infact all lights work just perfectly.
Respectful I say to you, that it's all in the directions, page 7 top right hand side of the page. It's the manual that came with the the TRX 8038X KIT

Great job on your video with the TRX4 High Trail. You have to read the Pro Light Kit instructions, under "Operation" on the last page, it tells you head light, hazards, and turn signal modes. Great info on the Roll Bar install, I watched your vid to see witch port to plug into for the lights. Traxxas did drop the ball on info for ALL the ports used in the Pro Light Kit. Thank You for your time and effort.✌

not sure if you figured all this out yet, but there is a bunch of things i could offer to help with. for one the blinkers are NOT on by default like it says you just have to turn them on per instructions BUT! the turn signals only work after you stop apply the brake then turn the wheels if you dont apply the brake the signals wont work all the time traxxas does not tell you that for some reason also if you wanted to make high and low beam work for the light bar or the front winch light bar you need these 2 special harnesses from kit 8083 called "high low adapter" maybe this will help someone, cause i had to learn the hard way

Awesome job definitely a lot to go through but you did great and I agree Traxxas definitely dropped the ball. I’m not a fan of there electronics at all never had any luck with em. Take care bless you and yours

I added the "Pro" light kit to my TRX4 21 Bronco. Got it all working correctly, but said to myself, never again. It's more of a novelty to have blinkers, reverse lights ect. The normal LED kits are all you really need.

I've put the 21 Bronco kit in without any problems and worked great, and was Blown away from this multi-part mix for the K5 to K10 adaption ... C'mon Traxxas get a full kit for the K10 Cheyenne High-Trail Model

Hi Larry! Just I've seen your video. You was very mad.... 🤣. I installed a Carsson light kit for 20€uros (same in $) on my K10. I use only the standard functions. All LEDs light up permanently. The same in my Axial's. That Traxxas kit is over 100€!!!! Way too much for....

Thank You for Watching and Commenting 💯 I was mostly upset because the Traxxas Rep's couldn't help after the Local Hobby Store used them to spec everything I needed for lighting everything except the push bar and ground lighting... Then I had a Friend in the Hobby step up and Help with all this overpriced cluster of LEDs... Thank's Rob W.
Just be aware that there are kits out there to do whatever you want or build your own however you need (Amazon and other RC part's vender's My Trick RC)

Thank's for your answer! I use port one for the winch and light kit. (Y splitter) In mine works the stock receiver, motor and the shift servo's. Esc (Hobbywing 1080) and steering servo (35kg) was changed.

Turn signals should work if you set the steering endpoints to maximum. Otherwise they won't turn on and blink when turning left or right.

The blinker function is a double tap or so on the signal button. It says so in the instructions. I did that for my f150 ranger high trail. But thank god I found this video. I did the light up roll bar on mine just yesterday and the lights weren’t bright at all. I’m going to try later and switch it to N instead of M.

Good luck and patience with this project, the Bluetooth module does help the functions for another chunk of Dollars 💵💵💵 the Traxxas fund💵💵💵LOL

Absolutely crazy you had trouble to this degree installing SIMPLE and WELL Implemented lighting system. I know your done with Traxxas and that's all fine and good sir your entitled.
I'm I'm no way affiliated with this company but my install on the exact rig except Grey body rollbar and all took my 50 minutes and one quick lookup on traxxas as to where to plug that bar in. My signals work, high and low beams and other than wishing the prices were cheaper (don't we ALL?) There vehicles and parts are fantastic and in a normal setting anyone can easily add these things to their vehicles without anxiety of missing something, or messing up! Just a small amount of patience { and attention to detail } i recommend. This light kit is amazing, sorry for the difference of opinion but "It is What it Is" Thanks for the video sir RC on friend......
Thanks for Watching and Your Not so Impressive Comment 😁👉 All this lighting was specified by my LHS through the Traxxas Rep...before the actual Pro Scale lighting kit was ready for the K 10 High Trail with the Roll Bar with Light's... FYI I've Installed the Pro Scale lighting kit in My 21 Bronco without any hiccups prior to the K 10 High Trail Release and that's what I thought I was getting not a Kit for lighting the K 5 Blazer mixed with a set of reverse lights added LMBO 🤣😂
And Yes Sir You are Correct in My Purchasing any More Traxxas RC's nor ever doing anything to Promote that Company that has caused lot's of Grief to Great Hobbiest and Business...
I'm sure you won't read this reply as most "Traxxas Fan's" would not... But I wish you a FUNTASTIC Time in Our Hobby no Matter what You Choose 💯

Did you run a y cable to your servo? I bought a 14 dollar kit for mine lol

Hey Larry where did you get the push button stitch from? Also I couldn’t get my turn signals to work with my high trail, don’t know what’s going on with it but I’ve plugged it into every port possible and when through all the modes and nothing

Amazon Prime has a nice selection of push on and off Mini Button's but I actually had this one laying around... However I have ordered these for more projects

Is traxxas gonna make a K10 light kit, or is the blazer light kit supposed to work for both? i’ve been waiting a couple months for them to put out a light kit made specifically for the truck cause i don’t like having to screw with other lights trying to get them to work. but it looks like not even the traxxas lights are simple.

i went on traxxas and talked to one of their online agents and it was very confusing. they say i can’t just plug the blazer kit into the receiver and i have to buy a power supply from them. i don’t see how you wouldn’t be able to just plug them directly into the receiver like any other brand of rc. 🤷♂️ like you said, they’re just trying to get more money out of us because they know they can.

Thank You for Watching and the Nice Comment 💯 It depends really on you're plans for additional lighting and adding the Bluetooth module (Traxxas only)...if not and you're using an after market controller and receiver then I would check into the My Trick RC lighting system's..$$, or you can shop Nitrorcx on line for the Drift Car lights $ (I'm using in the Gen 8 v2) a little more budget friendly... Or check Amazon for budget lighting kits, Hope this helps

Thank You for Watching and Commenting 💯 I had it on notification at traxxas.com supposed to be made exclusively for the TRX4 K10 Cheyenne High Trail, with the Light bar built-in, Really looks good after all the flaws in design, but after some Help from a Friend that is a Traxxas TRX4 Pro Scale Lighting Fan I've got it all working correctly except for the brake lights but it's the same way on my 21 Bronco in Scale Brake Mode on the ESC

I bought the pro kit and roll bar. Same thing bar does not fit, and they can't tell me why. So stopped the install, What a joke! I paid for extra for an extra body and I cant see drilling and honing all over the thing. Way too much money. The stock roll bar on the brown body is longer. not even close.
Thank You for Watching and Your Comment Explaining these issues, I used masking tape and outlined the base, then measured 3 times and carefully used my body reamer and Xacto knife to trim and fit .. trim and fit .. trim and finish .. aggravation does ensue when you pay that much for a part supposedly to fit right into place from a "name brand" company... take your time and it does all work out because we are Better than them...

Wow this video showed me nothing or offered me any help on install this light kit. I don't think it's a traxxas issue I think it's a you don't what the fuk your doing issue.
