@@jakksonkobalt chlorophyte is post mechs, so unless you use shotguns have fun aiming until you're about to fight plantera
@@spamton4990 Ranged is the easiest class to aim as you don't have to worry about slow projectile speed or awkward timed projectiles from melee and magic. For mech bosses Daedalus Stormbow is still incredibly good.
And you don't have to be close to your opponent like you do to use whips. Ranged is objectively the easiest class in the game.

i love summoner because it gives me the ability to dodge and not have to focus on my cursor as much as other classes

You raise a very good point. I SHOULD try the Heathen Smiting class. I'm sure a class based around teamwork being played solo will go perfectly fine.
Healer a lot of fun weapons. And having fun is more important than being able to kill bosses.

i love melee but i hate how the most viable weapons are just non-consumable throwing weapons
that's why i play without those types of weapons

I have played as every vanilla class. And I will say, melee isn't the least fun class. But you need Calamity for melee to be fun.

@@gd7151 защита бесполезна когда у всех урон огромный и есть механика разрушения защиты, уж лучше играть призывателем и задавить дамагом потому что ты в целом меньше тычек получишь и общего урона даже с маленькой защитой чем танком который не нанесёт урона и сам впитает, он больше подходит для коопа. может в ванилле воин и полезен, но для ноухитов защита явно юзлесс и лучше на урон поставить, потому тогда не будет скилл развиваться если тупо танковать, а ещё файты будут дольше ведь придётся дольше уворачиваться хотя танка имеет смысла ставить на другую выкладку и юзать на фазе буллет-хеллов как у пустоты или каламитас, ведь ты всё равно не можешь наносить в них боссах урон

I've only ever played melee or mage and I only play calamity at this point, I've done revengence and death countless times and I'm working on my second infernum pt, calamity is still incredibly fun. what does that say about me?

Calamity - summoner
Vanilla - melee bc summoners still can die to the random turtle on hardcore and in calamity even summoner has hundreds of defense

Sentry is part of summoner, just like how rangers have bows *and* guns, summoners have minions and sentries.

Not really. It can be very good, especially in Calamity. But most of the damage buffs in the game, especially the biggest swings are only for 1 class.
While stacking 2 classes can be helpful, especially if one is summoner, it isn't usually optimal.
I didn't really diss it in the video. I said that it is for people who don't like labels.
Also, in calamity if you are holding a non-summon weapon, your summons deal less damage.
@@jakksonkobalt but why forgor souls stockholm syndrome? Also who the hell cares about calamid, their summons are the definition of unbalanced. Vile feeder solos pre hardmode, hardmode uses like three minions with no reason to use anything else, post moonlord has you mix minions and sentries from just post-providence all the way up to post dog with literally zero good post yharon summons. Pre hardmode whips are useless, hardmode whips are somewhat usable and post moonlord you just get every whip in existence as well as all class debuffs. That's how you play summoner. And when I say pre hardmode whips are useless, I fucking mean it. Snapthorn with a minion loadout literally does less dps than bladecrest oathsword with the same build and loadout.
@WomanSlayer69420 it is a joke at how in Eternity mode Moonlord has damage immunities for all but one damage type that switches every so often, forcing you to use all 4 damage types. (Or at least this used to be the case.)
