What makes it even greater, is the fact that you, in holy humility always try to hide them, which is saintly, but again, it is for that precise reason, the true holy life you lead, and testimony you give, glorifies God, in a way no other loving servant of our Lord, can.

I converted at 30.
My road has been long and painful, I felt the call of priesthood as soon as I understood what was the role of the priest at the very start of my conversion. I received the grace of chastity and celibacy... now I am 36 and I missed my calling as I just been rejected after attempting to enter traditional seminary... I feel very sad.
Please, pray for me.
I love the priesthood, Mary and the Eucharist more than anything in the world.
Nothing would have made me happier to serve Him and be an apostle of the Sacred Heart.
Now I have to get over this desire and find a different path to serve His Kingdom.

You could look into Institute of the Good Shepherd. Their seminary is in France and is in full communion with Rome and I believe there is not an age limit. The Fraternity of St Peter is usually up to 35 but maybe they would make an exception. And obviously other orders such as Clear Creek, Abbeye Du barroux, Fraternité St Vincent Ferrier, carmélite hermits of mount carmel, etc, would be good to look into also. The institute of Christ the King also does oblates up to 40 if you decide against the priesthood and to be a brother. Hopefully this helped

You might be called to Serve but in a different role. Perhaps in marriage and as the head of your family Who knows, perhaps your future son may be the one to actually be in the priesthood? God Bless.

It’s also in full communion with Rome .The fraternity of St Peter is 35 years age limit but I’ve heard they make exceptions. Also other orders like Clear creek, abbeys du barroux, fontgombault, fraternité st Vincent Ferrier, carmélite hermits of Mount Carmel, etc are definitely worth looking into. Also the Institute of Christ the king does oblates up to age 40 so if you decide against the priesthood and just want to be a brother and serve. Hope this helped

Being from St. Louis, I support the good cardinal wholeheartedly. Nevertheless, I would ask just what religion that he would catechize? Is it the Church of the Ages or the one foisted on us by the socialist inspired New World Order.
@@JBQ86 One would hope it would be directly from, ‘Catechism of the Catholic Church’. (Which can be found online at United States Conference of Bishops.) Just straight Catechism without social commentary. I prefer, ‘General Council of Trent, 1545-63 A.D.’, which is a Papal Encyclical.

Thanks so much to God for you both! So refreshing and strengthening when we need it the most! As a side note, inspired by this holy conversation between holy friends and true friends of Christ, it came to me that The True Catholic Faith would be more readily accepted by presenting an indisputable aspect of it that we do not emphasize.
Putting aside the notion of evolution as a theory proposed by Darwin, Catholicism is the source of the most true and most high evolution of human beings to the fullness of the maturity of Christ. Saints ARE indeed the most highly, truly and deeply evolved of humans and we are all called to that. Pride, sin, sexual perversions, abortion, etc. are the absolute opposites of the most true human evolution.
The Eucharist is the crown and summit of our evolution out of ourselves, over ourselves and totally into Christ. Like a chick breaking out of the tight confines of the ego-egg to experience fullness of life in God, in this life and the next.

I made this exact argument about FS "blessings" and a well-known "Catholic" YT'er called me a pharisee for saying that blessings should be for each individual and not done as a couple. I said bringing the person you are actively sinning with and plan to continue to sin with is WRONG and disrespectful to GOD. I also stated that FS was an underhanded document meant to confuse and deceive. He also didn't like that too much, but I think "he doth protest too much", so this must be something that hit too close to home for him.

Vast majority of priests today are not what they used to be. I remember when the Franciscan friars used to come to our house for dinner once a week and teach in my grade school. Now if you have marital problems they send you off to a protestant marriage counselor and KNC donate funds to secular charities. They catholic church has changes from the center of the community and running hospitals to a McDonalds for souls.

St John Vianney lived a life of great simplicity and poverty. Cardinal Burke wouldn’t know much about that.
