Sadly the latency in BeamMP makes doing proper PITs almost impossible.
I make police bumpers that shoot/pneumatic slide out a spike strip from one side of that bumper at any speed.
That would be a cool mod.

I can remember a map called Crawl Central from years ago. I used to make it through that map with the Hopper before all the newer configs. I made a custom one with the biggest tires and I got rid of all the body panels. Then I would tune it with the highest ride height and widest offset. Worked pretty good. The new vehicles make it too easy.
Admittedly, Crawl Central was pretty easy compared to the level 3 paths
They're based on real vehicles though. Look up, Rock Crawler, Rock Bouncer and Basher. They're all different class vehicles for offroad sport.

@@Name-kd5jj Yeah, but I’ve made it up the Johnson Valley Mountain in a modified D-Series as well with no resets. Not saying Crawl Central was/is a bad map

Great demonstration of atom smashing with the buses. A+ science video.
Crawling with the slower, less powerful cars are much more fun for me. Won't wheelie as much etc. And the grip is insane. Don't need alot of power for that. And the jeep is my favorite for sure. Not the one you used in the start tho. To much power in that version
These purpose-built cars are nice, but you can’t really make a custom build them like you can with the hopper or D-Series
Reminds me of those video about a hill run where most bmw and miata cant climb a hill because of wheelspin while a beetle cruise up the hill easily despite lower power but its because the weight is at the back where the axle is powered so more grip
The collision where Camodo says you split in half is so much cooler from his POV

That's not even funny
There's a challenge with the crawler and it's frigging hard.
I managed under 5 mins after resetting like 10 times.
You first have to cross dunes with it and it just spins if you floor it.
I haven't had so much fun with a game in a while, I'm glad I got it a few weeks back and then, boom, update. :D
Neil has absolutely NO concept of throttle control lol.

hey neil. what a beautiful map for rock crawling. full sends! ive been playing beamng after getting my own Alienware laptop. i enjoy watching your videos especially with camodo. love the multi-player also. keep up the amazing content man. maybe 1 day we can all play together. that be amazing. i had to unsubscribe because of some issue of it not allowing me to click the bell notifications it was disabled. then i re subscribed and it fixed the issue.
Neilogical, there are several classes/leagues/variations of "rock crawlers". There is the slow and methodical which is called Rock Crawling. There is another class called "Bouncer" and so on. Each of them require vastly different suspension and transmission setups. The ONLY reason I know this because a friend of mine introduced me to the hobby of RC Rock Crawling.
I actually feel terrible that Neil had to try to climb that mountain with a truck geared for extremely quick sprints AND somehow STILL managed to climb as far he did.
Tim Cameron was my favorite bouncer to watch.

Hello guys, just a quick question, how do you light up the light bar etc because the base button from BeamNG only lights up the standard headlights and not the light bars etc. I looked quickly in the settings but couldn't find anything, thx to anyone who would respond to this.

Ney Neil, just in case you are interested, I have a super fast Nissan GT-R mod config that beats both the drag scintilla and bastion in the 1/4 mile (2.4s 0-60) and another that is faster than all vanilla cars and most mod cars (350mph). Might be interesting to bring that to the next multiplayer episode and smoke everyone on a straightaway

They are trail makers that show you the difficulty level (I, II, and III) With I being easiest - most 4x4s can handle. And with III being the hardest - where you will most likely need low range and locking diffs.

if that's the hardest of the rock crawling portion, I'm pretty disappointed
Why are you dissapointed, the new rock crawler which is the best excluding mods struggles at parts
@@jamesonranger5174 The old crawling challenges seemed harder. These courses seemed way too easy compared to the old ones
@@crash7976 the utah ones? If so these are way harder, just choose the hopper crawler not the new ones and go run thru some of the trails, some are easier but theres several that are way harder

You should get a controller with those special triggers. I bought mine without realizing and figured out I could control the throttle and it wasn’t all or nothing.
Aka: every one exept for the switch. Simple as that
Someone should make an EV version of the rock basher, the tourqe and lower center of gravity would definitely come in handy
