    Hi mate! tks for the review. Im 5´6 (1,68) and 71 kg. Do you think i should stick um Small or Medium Size... note that there is no MS here in my city in Brazil. Cheers

      Leo Teixeira Hey buddy. Hard to say I would guess a medium will probably still be ok. I'm the same high and was 84 kg but now 88 but my extra weight is mainly on my belly and the medium and MS both fit me well but not super tight so you could maybe look at small if your a slender build. My mate is 74 kg and still a medium. The fit is quite similar to ripcurl and O'Neil I would say ideally if you can try one or get one and try it on and send it back and swap if the size is wrong ? Most people are usually ok with that. Hope that helps. Fit is very hard to help without seeing someone. I'm well over the measurements for medium and they fit me well and large are too big personally

    Hi mate love what you are doing, I would love you to review the FireWire gem vs Takayama in the pink, don't change a thing.

      Cheers mate.. The in the pink is a great board.. Very different board to the GEM though. I would call the pink more like the Wingnut Nose Rider. Still it's one of the few boards that's a big east nose rider that you can still turn off the tail and the rails arn't all completely focused on holding onto water for nose riding like a lot of traditional boards. Funny enough I scored a second hand surftech Byrne in the original tuflight tech recently that's another board that's not unlike the gem.. Those late 2000s 2+1 semi HP allrounders were really popular back then.. The saber was my first longboard and that was actually really similar to the gem.. Might have even had influence from the same shaper .. They all seem to have gone by the wayside for nose riding hipster machines (which is cool too, i'm just not any good at it though :-) lol
      Thanks for your support and thanks for watching :-)

    Hi Mate! In a 1-10 scale how warm the vissla 7 seas feels to you? I'm actually looking for a warm wetsuit for cold windy days (my E bomb doesn't keep me warm for more than 2 hours) I tried Hurley wich is warm and flexible but doesn't last more than 1 year , so I'm deciding between the Ripcurl flashbomb which is bloody expensive.. And the one you're reviewing. Thanks!! Love all your reviews btw.

      Miguel Gallego Hi Miguel. I can tell you as a direct comparison that on a 3/2 the ripcurl is warmer. I have tried flashbomb psycho freak vissla in 3/2 and the flashbomb and psychofreak are for sure the warmest but they are also twice the price. The vissla north seas has the seals etc. I would say for warmth and longevity the ripcurl are hard to beat if they fit you well. For some reason they have gotten tighter around the thighs for me and that's why I have moved over. I would agree Hurly feel good but only had mine one season. The vissla I have had no problems at all they also last really well. One thing I did last year is put a 1.5mm flashbomb vest top under my suit you can get them cheap and they don't have arms so really don't feel like they restrict you too badly. Other thing is I give to 4/3 in a vissla for the real cold days and that flex and weight is still not that bad. If you want the warmest thinnest longest lasting fastest drying suit I would stick to ripcurl and hunt down a deal for price or go a last season one from somewhere maybe. Hope that helps.

      Miguel Gallego by the way the flash bomb is definitely warmer than an early bomb vissla probably not much warmer than your e bomb maybe a little cheers.

    Is there a seam in the neck? A review on Evo said a seam in the neck causes irritation.

    • @lawson45uk
      @lawson45uk  Před 6 lety +1

      Yeah mate there is a seam in the neck but it's never bothered me and I have fairly sensitive skin. There is a seam on oneil, ripcurl and xcel too so I certainly wouldn't let it put you off. The 2mm is just glued so I would say possibly even less likely to bother you than some others. Some have a nice tape over the inside others you might even feel the stitching so yeah certainly wouldn't let it put me off as I have never noticed. Thanks

    is there a spot for your keys

    • @lawson45uk
      @lawson45uk  Před 5 lety

      Philip Schabarum Hi Philip. Yeah there is a key loop stitched in just inside the chest zip area. No specific pocket for that to sit in like some suits but works sweet as. It was one thing I was unsure of too but yeah they have you covered for a key. I have most of my suits as vissla now and all have been fantastic cheers.
