Thank you for your comment. I know there pretty much always is an option on Dcc to control directional lights, so not sure.

One thing that gets me about those units on all the layouts when in pairs like the 450's why is it they always have the rear lights and headlights on between the units when they are off on the real railway even the Milton Keynes layout with the 350's they do it. do you know if they have under body switches or is a DCC option for that?

Afaik you cannot with them off when in pairs unless you want to do major surgery on them!
