- Some huge layouts at the Great Electric Train show, including Pete Waterman's Making Tracks layouts 1,2 &3 connected together for the fist time, over 150 ft in length.
The exhibition, organised by Hornby Magazine was held the 14/15th of October at the Marshall Arena was one of the largest Exhibitions of the year and was extremally popular!
Thank you to all those involved.
I have done my best to avoid filming people and conversations but inevitably at an event like this it is so difficult to avoid, so if there are any objections please get in touch with the time in the video and I will do my best to edit.

Great walkabout style, thoroughly entertaining. I spent my time looking for stock rather than the layouts but even that wasn't easy when it's chocka block.

40:01 James Street is very impressive for many reasons. Burnt Island the Scottish layout earlier in the video is Scalefour and equally impressive. Thanks for spending the time to get the video in less than ideal conditions.
I didn't pick up on burnt Island being Scalefour, I think I mistakenly labelled it as OO. Anyway yes a very difficult show, 5 1/2 hours to film the footage and about 6 to edit! As always thanks for your support.
Thank you for the video. I was there too on Sunday, but being in a wheelchair you don't get to see much, too many people. I think I've seen much more of the layouts watching your footage than being there. Thanks again.

Well, it was a good show, but quite stressful so Id like to say you missed out, but also possibly had a nicer day Anyway thanks for watching.
I went on the saturday and it was bloody awful. The shuttle buses were so overpacked I ended up walking which was much faster.... then couldnt get to any stand or layout. Gave up and left. Awful experience.
yep it was bad enough on Sunday, they were sending people to park in Homebase, I an only imagine how bas Saturday was with the busses. Anyway thanks for watching and sharing.
