I know that it will definitely not stay that way, but the fact that they came anywhere close to that at any point shows how insane of a world we are living in.
Yeah they already have 26 recruits which definitely boosts them a bit right now. Rutgers is actually surrounded by a lot of local talent every year so if they can get most of it to stay then they will have very talented football teams.

New Jersey produces some of the best athletes in the nation (and a denser state than most realize). Just always overshadowed by Texas & Florida
Michigan winning a national title last year has Ohio State at about DEFCON 0.001.
