This is pretty dank, haven't seen anyone ring SMD so far
Thank you Zlo. Really useful tip.
Great tutorial.
Thanks for uploading
thank you for the tips
I always build at most 6 t1 power generators , then I upgrade to tech 2 and build a tech 2 power plant as soon as possible. At the beginning of the game it's pretty expensive but it s a good investment
On stunt I tend to use for early game is a grid of T1 Power Gen and T1 Mass Fabs. You need 3 Power Gens per Mass Fab, and an extra 3 Power Gens at the end. The total I usually use in a skirmish is 3x7 Power Gens, and 2x6 of Mass Fabs internal, so it is a checkerboard pattern. This takes the Mass Fabs to only needing 30 power for 1 Mass, instead of 40
T1 mass fab?
@@adamofblastworks1517 Mass Fabricator. You put 40 Energy in, and get 1 Mass out. Just protect it well as this checkerboard pattern will cascade detonate if even one of the Power Generators gets destroyed
@@toddkes5890 T1 though? I thought they were only T2 & T3.
@@adamofblastworks1517 Ah, I was referring to original Supreme Commander. Never got into Forged Alliance
@@toddkes5890 oh those were a thing in the original? It's been so long since I played I've forgotten
So T1 pgens give same % adjacency reduction bonus as T2 or T3?
+IrrieldeCZ less %, but since t1 pgens consume little space under the shield and the explosive damage is negligible, they are the best choice
So would you also recommend to not build mass storage next to mass extractors?
Sometimes it’s good to go for factory adjacency or even quantum gateway, but most of the time, you should construct a full ring of storage around your t2 mexes.
I would say ring in storage if nothing else is available to consume the mass bonus.
adjaCent, not adjaJent 👌😉❤️
