I had to explain to my white 'trump supporting' friend that slavery is still in effect like this: Welfare paid women to produce more children (breeding). The school system indoctrinates the children to obey the 'master' (white man), The law prepares them by giving them minor infractions when they are young so when they run into a cop while doing anything as an adult, they can be arrested and moved onto the plantation (prison).
They work for free, when they get out, they have to go back b/c they can't get jobs and provide for themselves. all of that equals slavery with a new name. (working for room and board but not pay, under similar conditions with slave masters while under lock and key)

Past and present generations born into artificial systems weren't aware of any blood covenants of God or that they were the chosen ppl of God. Apparently the captors read the original scrolls of the word of God and made it fit their own narrative as if they were the chosen ppl of God so they can usurp the land and exploit humans for their own benefit and pleasures. Slaves in the Bible were paid for their work, they were highly favored if they were smart at economics or good at teaching in math etc. However even Paul in the Bible still didn't believe slaves was an ok practice. If Deuteronomy 28 says the people were cursed by God and would forget their heritage, how easy would it be for another group to steal their religion and pose as the people of the Bible? The enslaved people never spoke English they spoke ancient Hebrew which was the first language the Old Testament was written in, then Greek, then Latin, then English! There are parts of Africa that still have their ancient Bible!
So when he said it was the first time the enslaved people saw the Bible.....what he should have said was "It was the first time they saw the English Bible"!
