Smokey Robison, is so right.
Tell ‘em Smokey!… I don’t call myself Puerto Rican American, I just call myself “AMERICAN” I was born here simple as that… 🇺🇸
Exactly...
Technically my brother, it’s a very sinsitive topic but you are still American if you were born in Puerto Rico. Don’t downplay it you have a beautiful culture either way
I am a very proud African-American!!
But your root is from Puerto Rican 😅
Puerto Ricans are confused they wanna be people of color and white at the same time. Tethers most of them. They love to say the N word.
When I was a child (about 8 y/o) back in 1968, I asked my mother what am I. My mom said I am an American first and not to let anyone say you're not.
Smokey is right.
This country was built by many different people, originating from many places, but spent a lifetime building the US, blood, sweat and tears, fought and died for this country, they are AMERICANS.
Thank you to all who built this country.

when I went overseas, they didn't call me a black American. They called me an American. and by the way, my family's been here for centuries. On my mother side.
I understand exactly what he’s saying! ADOS are black Americans! I call myself and other African immigrants, African Americans because that’s what we are! Our differences don’t have to divide us! We can all claim our own culture while respecting each other 💜 love to all my black folks worldwide
