Seeing that White Wizard is barely mentioned nowadays, I think it's safe to say that Visigoth might be the top dog in neo-trad.
You have Ambush, Enforcer, Skull Fish, Night Demon and many more keeping it alive.

Great band
This was my pick. I'm sorry I missed this one on the live stream, but I'm glad you liked the song so much. This band is one of my favorite new wave of traditional heavy metal bands. I had heard other songs from them before, but this is the song that really clicked with me. Such good riffs, and it just makes you want to scream "betrayer!" at the top of your lungs.
Thank you for picking this one, I found this band by pure chance a few years back and have since seen them live 2 times, this song was the highlight of the show for me

I found this band awhile back. So theatrical and passionate. I love it.
Bands like Visigoth deserve so much more airplay and recognition! It's like 80s Heavy Metal, but with a modern twist. Feet solidly planted in retro musicality, retro sound, retro imagery, but it's still 21st centruy music.

One of the best live bands of this century so far, the energy is unreal! I've had the pleasure to see them live three times in Europe, and It never gets old! Hoping that once Covid is no longer a prevalent issue I'll be travelling to the States to catch them on their home turf. A lot of the clips in that music video are from a festival in Hamburg, it was so packed that they stopped letting people into the room where Visigoth performed.

This band is old-school D&D in musical form. Quite literally so. Visigoth, Gygax, Smoulder, Greyhawk, Sacred Outcry, they're on constant rotation on my Spotify.
First time I heard them was a few years ago here on YT, playing their song Blood Sacrifice on Keep It True.I was blown away and It became my favorite from them together with Dungeon Master. Too bad I can't seem to find the video anymore.

I was wondering when I’d see Visigoth come up on here. I definitely recommend all their tunes, and other bands, like Eternal Champion and Smoulder.
If you haven't seen, they did a Smoulder song before. Eternal Champion will also be happening somewhat soon.

Steel and Silver is their best I think, plus its about the Witcher
Visigoth are great and a lot of fun, but maybe Vin sensed a bit of black metal attitude-wise because the vocalist in this band is the guy behind two of the best US black metal releases from the past decade, with Gallowbraid and Caladan Brood. Both bands that Vin and Sori need to eventually react to.
