Look you seem like nice people... I get that people get caught early on by cults, often their parents are in a cult or the cult inflitrates early education and tries to grab kids and speak to them there and instead of developing a rational approach to things they introduce a roundabout explanation that always ties the innerworkings of fundamental aspects of life to their cults propaganda. You are not school kids anymore, for yours and your childrens benefit you should learn to deal with these things without having to appeal to magic or spirits or other metaphysical notions. An explanation that doesnt require suspension of the laws of physics or belief in some magical being that sets everything to work is always gonna be a more reliable one than an explanation that does. Simpler solutions are much likely to be true than those that are involving an unnecesary layer of bunk and juju. Youve talked to priests, youve been talked at by priests, ask someone who isnt a believer how does he make sense of these things. Not all of them may give you a good answer because most people dont think about these issues that much at all but i asure you theres answers that dont involve gods having to exist to make this world we live in chug allong. i hope my explanation of why animals see difference between consensual sexuality and rape is clear enough. Im not a biologist but i understand this from a highschool level understanding of genetics and biology and human psychology.

An animal wants the best partner for itself, it doesnt want a random partner. This is true of most animal and especially true in mamals. Its how the genetic pool improves and adapts to negative pressure of the environment. the better adapted animals thrive while weaker ones poorly adapted ones die out more easily... So to subvert this mechanism by violence is detrimental to the individual animals subjected and the species. The only thing that wins in this situation is those animals who are genetically on the road to extinction which is why rapists dont really have regular families. Their only way to get access to the breeding pool is violence... Or the most likely way and therefor their prefered way. Thats why this deviation exists and thats why its resisted by the genneral population... ITs all biology and genetics playing out in our decision making processes and it exists in all animals across all levels of cognition because its rooted in genetics and survival of the fittest..

YEs were just animals, but that doesnt mean we cant feel very special when were in love or making love... It doesnt prove anything metaphysical tho. It just means some states of heightened emotions dont happen commonly and happen to many people under certain conditions.

Marriage is just a decision, if you decide you are married who is greater authority to tell you youre not? A priest? a god this priest is using as a sleight of hand to pretend its not him telling you this? To big up his " authority" to absolute status ( how arogant ) and if were talking like adults and neither of those trully matter and only your decission matters then even an official paper from the government isnt needed. A ceremony isnt needed, rings arent needed. All it means when you are married is that you communicate that you decided to be with each other permanently. Understanding this is often better than pretending this involves or requires any ceremony or god or institution. Because if you think that these external superfluous things are the source of your bond then once they become weakened you may think it affects your most intimate bond with your partner. It doesnt. It also makes the bond stronger to be honest about it being just between two of you and just about the two of you. I think thats one of the reasons why atheists have very good track when it comes to relationship stability compared to general population and christians have more cases of infidelity and divorce than general pop.

The soloing was Ken Hensley on the Hammond organ, not guitar. People talk about Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple as the founders of heavy metal but Uriah Heep were right there with them. This was one of the best early heavy riffs in my opinion and the keyboard work and vocals are stellar in this song.

I think the song speaks of the biblical flood in every aspect. The Die Die Die part is from God's perspective. God deemed the world unreedmable becues the watchers married and created children. This was forbidden!! Mankind was warned by Noah but failed to listen.The Riff at the end is God's perspective after he saw what the flood and done. He then vowed to never do it again. 32:17

This band was so ahead of its time! Back in the day, Christians used to reject this so much and criticized this band for being Christians making this extreme music that is considered evil. But today this is more tolerated and welcomed.

Funny how they over think it

Rainbow had multiple lead singers, Dio being the best suited for this group. Joe Lynn Turner was pretty good to although not as defined as Ronnie James Dio was. But lets not forget who the originator of the band was, also one of the greatest guitar gods of all time, Ritchie Blackmore. Paired with one of the greatest singers of all time, this was a band beyond its time.

Bruce wrote this song in reference to the banks, and all of the corruption that led to the Great Recession. People were using their homes like ATM machines.....paper money. Loans that were ultimately doomed. El Dorado Gold.
