This video was very helpful. It’s so hard to find maintenance videos on Munchkin boilers. I’m getting a FLU error code on mine from time to time. Other than a bad vent switch, which I have a new one coming tomorrow, any idea what else could be causing this? The vent isn’t blocked. Thank you!

Thanks for posting this. I have a similar Munchkin hooked up to my radiant floor system and an indirect hot water heater. It was installed in 2006.
Somewhere along the line, a tech must have stripped the mounting holes for the flame rectifier, so there is no gasket and only one screw holding it into the burner door. I need to fix this somehow. I think I may have to replace the burner door for a crummy .15 screw hole.
You got all your parts from Jupiter Heating?
Also, when I look through my observation port, my flame burns orange. I’m assuming that should be blue (I have natural gas, not propane). I’m guessing that air is getting into the chamber from the poor flame rectifier mount, or could that be something else related to the burner?
Thanks again for sharing your knowledge.

Hey Duke. On the flame rectifier just get a bigger screw. All it is is holding it. (the next size screw). As long as it hold strong.
I called Jupiter for the Door seal and they were clueless. You had to buy the whole door assembly. $$$$$. So I bought it on line www.amazon.com/dp/B01D0ORS9S?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

Hello, That's a tough one. Not every HVAC tech works on Munchkin boilers. Google it. Good luck!
PS. That's why I learned to fix them. A Repair can cost double than a regular cast iron boiler.

What is the diameter of the fiberglass rope used to seal the burner door . Also what adhesive did you use? I want to have it on ha.nd before I open the chamber, in case I need to replace that gasket

I have a different model of munchkin boiler , than shown in this video. Looks similar, but different. Do they use the same part numbers?

Hello, depending on the btu's. There are some parts that are the same in all boilers but still lots of different parts since size matters. ie: ( you need a bigger fan for bigger btu).
go to Jupiter heating .com Find your model and buy some parts now that you can. When it goes down it is a pain in the butt to get parts.
