@@DangerouslyDetermined Sometimes people have a particular rejection towards a specific suggestion for personal reasons. Like maybe he was lost as a little boy and needed to know his name to have people find his parents or something. The Reptilian Brain just has the name so locked now that it sees danger in even imagining it's gone. But what I really like about this was Richard didn't see that as failure, just changed the suggestion to something else. And it worked perfectly. Seems all the suggestions afterwords did too. Good life lesson in that success can be hidden around a simple stumbling block, but if you go a little further, it will be there waiting for you.

@EXTREME STREAMES Thanks for the video content! Sorry for the intrusion, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you considered - Proutklarton Clever Hypnotist Plan (just google it)? It is a smashing one off guide for learning how to control and influence people simply by talking and using hypnosis minus the headache. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my close friend Aubrey after a lifetime of fighting got amazing results with it.
Sometimes they resist for some odd reason. Like an accountant might resist forgetting a number because they need to be good at numbers to do their job. Nathan might just be particularly proud of his name and his subconscious wouldn't let him drop it. It's hard to tell why unless you dig further. One of the things that I find works though is if you mention that 'you will only temporarily forget X'. This way they know it's coming back so there is no need to resist the suggestion.
But ya, often times it's just good to switch to something else. There could be hidden trauma based on one particular suggestion (like maybe Nathan's father had passed away before he was born and he was named after him in memory; didn't want to lose that memory of his dad, who knows?), so best to just move on to something else instead.

After a hypnotist (or any other persuader) has used many persuasive tactics and hypnotic suggestions to influence a person one way, would you agree that them saying something like "but it's always your choice!" Is yet another persuasive tactic? To me it seems like a way to make the subject identify with whatever choice you subtly pushed them towards - to make them believe what you want is actually what they want, which really solidifies the suggestion. It certainly seems to me to have that effect, and having been on the receiving end of it that's how it felt to me. What do you think?
