The traditional part of Macau looks like the center of many Brazilian and Portuguese cities.
Im Malaysian . There is word ‘ campur aduk ‘ in our language which means mix, or mixture. And what’s interesting is the Portuguese colonize us as well (Malaca) for 100++ years . And we have portuguese influence in our language such as janela (jendela) , bola , almari (almario) , baldi (balde) , bangku (banco) , bendera (bandeira) , boneka (boneca)
AMIGO.
Betul...
Que amor de lugar, quero muito visitar um dia 😍
🇵🇹💛🇲🇴
Sapeca in Patua and interesting money hahaha SAPECA in Portuguese means naughty child
muito bom! gostei muito, vivo no Brasil e gostaria muito de conhecer Macau!
Champurrado in México is a hot beverage made of corn mixed with cacao roasted seed. It's similar to hot chocolate but without milk. I suppose that came to us from the Philippines.
Up
Yes! You are right!
No, it is not, it is from Kristang.
Macau is indeed champurado! I don't speak Portuguese, but I can see the language has a lot of influence from different languages. One thing I noticed besides Cantonese, Patua is also influenced by Malay/Indonesian language. The reduplication of a noun to show plurality is actually a grammatical feature in Malay/Indonesian. I am surprised it found its way into Patua.
It came from when the Portuguese colonized Malacca.
A lot of Portuguese who came to Macau took Malay wives from Malacca, so the linguistic basis for Macau's patuá is this old Malaccan creole with a Malay substratum.
means "misturado" in Portuguese, ( mixed) but as people in macau in the past couldn’t spell well "misturado"
said "Champurado" ..
In Mexican Spanish there is noun dupplication too. Mexico in the past had communication with Philippines and other places in Asia.
Brilhante. Brilhante. Brilhante.
champurado here in our country is a sweet chocolate rice porridge.😊
so yummy! 😋😋😋
In Mexico it is hot cocoa with a corn base. Really good!
It's referred to as 'Champurrado'
@@lux2132 And it is named champurrado because it is indeed a mixed beverage.
Meu sonho é conhecer "Macau Champurado"...
De um fã brasileiro do Dóci Paiaçám: que pena que é só um vídeo por ano! Cada um é melhor que o outro. Ao Senna Fernandes: como lusófono, seu pai é um ídolo para mim (sou escritor também, e meu romance "O Grande Massacre das Vacas" é um pouco sobre lusofonia). Se algum dia for a Macau, quero conhecer é o "Macau Champurado". Afinal de contas, costumo brincar que nunca estive no Inferno mas já fui a Las Vegas, e agora já faço ideia de como o inferno pode ser.
Champurado e origen da idioma Malaios = Campur significa misturado. Chanpuru a cognate with Malay from the Okinanwa language could be an echo of a previous Austronesian language present in Okinawa centuries ago or through centuries of trading with the Malay archipelago.
I think the most plausible theory would be a borrowing due to intense contact with Southeast Asia. During its golden age the most importand economic activity of the Ryukyu kingdom was trading. It maintained commercial relations with most kingdoms in East and Southeast Asia, and there were many Ryukyuan colonies spread throughoutthe region.
I can´t believe it! That word "champurado" is said in México with the same meaning, it is written "champurrado".
@@hansel1jensen from the Malay archipelagos to Acalpoco.
@@sonnymak6707 Wow!!! Amazing!!! Thanks.

volto 2 vezes ao ano para assistir os videos do doci papiaçam! AMO este video e o do BICHO-MAN muito comico xD
Loved the songs and the singer/guide (cute as can be!!!).
❤❤❤❤❤❤ ola ❤
I just wanted to know how to cook Champorado and now I'm here Lol
Sou de Goiás - Brasil, não sei como vim parar nesse vídeo e adorei Macau, fiquei muito curioso, tenho que conhecer. :D... "Macau Champurado" ficou na minha cabeça..
Muito bom!!! Parabéns. Abraço do Brasil

Macau tem até o pato da Fiesp, kkk!

Macau Champurado, Macau Champurado \o/
'Champuradu' comes from malay word campur aduk which means to mix or blend together. I wonder how did this word reach Macau.
campur in malay means mix, combine or blend. campur aduk is confused or blended. btw, I'm malay.
educalingo.com/en/dic-ms/campur
During 16th century, Goa was Portuguese administration centre in the far East. Ships from Macao had to stop at Malacca to wait for Trade wind. A portion of soldiers and sailors were from Malacca. It is natural that Malacca Kristang and Macao patua are using common root words.
Woww
It reached even Mexico! We have a hot beverage made of corn "mixed" with cacao roasted seed. Now I get it. We must have received the word directly from the Philippines in Colonial times.
In Indonesian is campur is also means mix, because Indonesia have been colonize by Portuguese in the 16th century. and plus Indonesia and malay language are almost similar
NÓS TÊM!!!!
'Champurado' is literally 'campur aduk' in Malay language, which can be roughly translated as 'mixed'.

Que maravilha de vídeo..
Obra prima!
Champurado is a breakfast meal here in the Philippines. I don't why
É curioso ... dizem " pagode " como no Brasil ..
Amazing
Macau Champurado é brasil.
O português de macau pareçe com o modo cearense de falar!😁
What does champurado means in Macanese / Portuguese? In the Philippines, it is a type of dessert
The word doesn't exist in Portuguese. It entered Patuá (the creole language of Macau) from Malaysian (where the Portuguese hold Malacca for some centuries) and it means "mixed".
Campur [champur] in Malay means "mix".
Champorado/ tsampurado is a Filipino dessert of chocolate "mixed" with rice.
Champuru in Okinawa is a "mixed" stir-fry dish.
patua- champurado
malay -campur aduk
Tagalog - tsampurado, a chocolate rice porridge delicacy from the Philippines
China must give more land to Macau

I wonder which came first the Portuguese Pão or the Chinese Bao?
They are unrelated. "Pão" comes from the Latin word "pan".
