Yes and no because anything that Nintendo slaps the Pokemon name on is going to sell no matter the quality. It could have brought some previous players back though since a lot of people playing Palworld have stopped playing Pokemon games.

The reason for 3/4 bases isn't because of intended play for single player. It's performance related and for when playing multi-player. Using 10 bases is not a problem.

over the past decade i have done nothing but suffer alone in poverty. i have not gotten to play any of the new games i wanted to. finally after much hardwork im getting my life together and will finally be able to buy a new gaming pc and play this shit and im so fucking hyped a new dlc just dropped right before it happens.
Kinda know the feeling. My desktop pc broke last year in autumn. Had to play on my laptop. Was okayish but yeah, 30fps maximum on many games... Now after like 8 to 9 months I spent some money for a new desktop pc and it feels so great😅

I kinda wish they adjusted Jetdragon for the new areas. Cause he is still pretty much op and Asmon won't be switching or using the new pals as his main team.
Just because he's a dirty legendary spammer doesn't mean the hard-earned legendary pals need to be nerfed. Or that the mons on this new island need to be better than it.
The whole point of legendary monsters is that they are OP.

The new oil platform is level 65 with turrets and what looks like anti air stuff in it.
The mercy ring does work on your riding pals if your on them and using their attacks
It's refreshing to see someone so aggressively bad at a game. Using a cross bow on level 55 content, that's like using a level 30 axe in molten core.
This game is like Satisfactory and Pokemon had a kid and im all for it.
Haven't played Palworld in a while now, haven't even done everything in the base game, but this is looking like a nice update. Maybe I need to jump back in at some point.

The ring of mercy works while riding your pals btw just not free roaming tamed pals and burn damage can exceed 1 hp as well.

Dammit...I haven't touched this game in forever. Now, you got me curious about it again. It's going to disrupt my first playthrough of kotor: Sith lords in almost 20 years but sometimes sacrifices have to be made when it comes to cravings. Lol
23% is the PROGRESS of the catch not the chance to catch. To see the chance to catch, hold in the throw button and hover over the pal, it'll show your catch rate which is different then the progress bar---and yes its a bit confusing.
Okay but does multiplayer work on xbox now? I'm tired of insta crashing in dungeons, if the game is fixed I'm super down.

Only 40 minutes in. Wondering if he will pick up on the mercy mechanic at some point so the pals don't die that he wants to capture. Wish they made it a one click or button press to swap your mercy ring out for something else mod combat.

Loving the game, might end up grinding a bit and then giving another extended break to keep it fresh for me. Gotta say though that the Dungeon crashes many of us Xbox players are still experiencing are quite annoying. The good stuff is locked behind Dungeon content and the crashes make most of it unaccessible to me. 😢
If the food change u can make them work better put tomatoes and lettuce to make salad they don lose COR and work faster

i played the game on a server with like 8 friends, we grinded, built bases, got max level and such, i just feel like we did everything there is to do in the game. i saw the patch notes it looks like they added 5 more levels with new shit to unlock along with new poi’s around the map but still, feel like i’ve done it all
its still technically alpha so the game still has a lot to add

But lots of people will be interested because "Oh, look! It's Pokemon!" Those fans (especially animal lovers) will be taken aback. For me, that'd be really funny.

You take forever to cap a critter... Stop trying to look cool with a melee, and try helping your pal with a firearm... Makes more logistical sense... 👍💪

The bad working conditions are because of the food. You have high level pals working high stress workloads eating baked berries. Try a food that offers some sanity like the pizza. The easiest though would be the salad. Just lettuce and tomato.
