Great to know how they come off. Mine wouldn't twist off, so a blast with WD40 and then a piece of wood against the inner edge to then tap them off a bit to break the corrosion bond allowed them to be then twist pulled off. I used ceramic brake grease (i.e. can take a good bit of heat ) on the 4 contact sliders when putting them back on to see how that works for pulling them off again to clean in about a year.
