Noong dumating kami sa Australia about 2 years ago, wala akong job offer. It’s a leap of faith ika nga.
Sa vlog na ito, ibabahagi ko sa inyo ang aking experiences at learnings how I searched for jobs and how I got it.
I had 4 different jobs in around 20months until I was able to be in the same field again. Now I am about a year in my current job and am very grateful.
3:00 -1st job as factory hand after 10 days of arrival
5:15 -2nd job as kitchen hand in a resto
10:10 -3rd job as contract cleaner
12:42 -4th job as electronics assembler
5th job now as RF Technician

kuya 16 years old lang ako pero gusto ko na magtrabaho jan sa Australia kaya ako na gumawa ng paraan meron akong 34 years old na gf jan balak ko sana pakasalan siya dito sa Pilipinas pag binisita niya ako para pag punta jan makapag apply ako ng partner visa ng sa ganon makapag trabaho ng full time or 40 hours sa isang week student visa sana aapply ko kaso masyadong maliit ang sahod mukhang hindi kaya makapagpadala ng pera sa pamilya kung student visa ang apply ko

Nakakainspire po kayo. Nanood po ako kasi nawawalan na ako ng pag-asa. Mahirap po talaga pag pumunta ng walang kakilala dito. Limited lang po skills ko (aka walang alam sa buhay) at sobrang mahiyain (walang lakas ng loob). Pahirap ng pahirap kasi ang haba na ng employment gap ko. Buti pa po kayo maabilidad at madiskarte sa buhay.
Kaya mo yan tol! Hindi ganoon kadali pero magagawa nmn, just keep seeking, networking and understanding your soroundings..malay mo yung makasalubong mo sa mall eh syan makapagbigay sayo ng referral. At syempre, una sa lahat ang panalangin tol.

Hi po, tanong ko lang po pala kung kumuha kayo ng Certificate III/IV dito? Pinag-iisipan ko po ng mabuti kasi ang mahal ng fee.
@@chichiri1624 hindi na ako kumuha ng Cert (on my own) kasi nakapunta din nmn ako sa job na linya ko. But now, the company Im working for decided to send me to study Cert4 in WHS at kumuha ng Restricted Electrical license. I think maganda din na may Cert, pero dapat andun na sa linya na gusto mo para level up. You may call TAFE as well for more details..or any training provider you prefer

Sir, hndi ba gaano ang engineering job dyan, blak ko rin sana mag PR, i have already my cdr for Electrical Engr pero kinakabahan ako i dont have any relatives dyan, no sufficient allowance to bring maybe good for 3months lang, im just working in province dito, if i cannot find a job in 3 months i might go back sa pinas.
Tol this is a difficult question..dahil madaming engineering qualified sa pilipinas but those qualifications are not directly recognized here. Even if EA has qualified us as professional level...another point maybe depends on where you start your life here..diff states have diff industries..livelihood etc..thats my experience tol from last 2017...but now that there is pandemic I can see that it has become more tough for job seekers...cheers! Dont loose hope but think about it, plan and research..its not easy but worth it.

Hi Tol, I think this strategy for now is better due to lesser hiring opportunities (with current pandemic)..but you should include all your family (partner and kids) when applying for migrant visa. CHeers!

When you apply for skilled immigrant visa, all the points will be included if you immediately add you family members, such as wife skills (diploma/profession), highest points total is always better chances of visa grant. At the same time, one time processing lang (and fees too) and easier, you dont have to repeat the same steps just for the wife and kids.
Once you all have the visa, then pwede mo na lang sila pasundin whenever it suits your situation..

Sir, paano po makakuha ng trabaho kung wala pong related work experience? For example po, teaching English as a second language po ang naging career pero gusto makakuha job as cashier or kitchen hand or waitress? Sa issubmit po na resumé wala pong mailalagay na related work experience sa position na aapplyan po? (For student visa holders po)
Hi sangbae1984, most of those jobs requires only basic skills and willingness to start. Need lang natin ma-convince yung hiring manager na willing tayo to work in any job available. Some of these jobs such as in the resto, needs specific forms that you would fill-up, its does not talk about experience but about your characteristics, how you will fit for the job. Cheers!

But try to download the seek.com app then make a profile..in that you can see which company or job listing accepts job seekers from overseas or sponsoship na tinatawag. Cheers! Yes po, we engaged with an agent. Although any registeredmigration should be fine, i dont want to reccomend because the lenght of application really depends on how fast and accurate you could produce needed documents.
Tol I engaged the services of ACN. Last 2017 I had my visa around 6months after lodgement, but you may check how long typically a visa is granted in this link immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/overview
