Call of Duty 3 is available on the Xbox One! LET’S GO!!!
The original Call of Duty 3 has just been made backwards compatible on the Xbox One, so I thought I’d revisit it again!
DISCLAIMER: This is NOT a remaster of Call of Duty 3. You can now play the same Call of Duty 3 from the Xbox 360 on the Xbox One. I recorded this on Sunday when I got back from my “secret mission”
Call of Duty 3 on the Xbox One is not really THAT big of a deal, but it’s nice to be able to play a WW2, boots on the ground Call of Duty game as opposed to Black Ops 3.
It ended up being a LOT more fun than I had expected though! :D

As you released this, WAW got added to backwards compatibility.
Well, I finally got the one COD I wanted on the Xbox One. Can't wait to use my scoped FG-42 in multiplayer.

Idk if you guys played this when it was current but this was so much fun. The smaller maps were 8v8 and the maps with vehicles were 12v12.

Probably one of the best things about CoD3 was the Vehicle Balance. They were powerful in the right hands, yet people could use rifle grenades or a bazooka to destroy them in a few well placed shots. (Yes, even tanks) Weapons were also fairly well balanced too, which made the game a blast to play.
WaW was also great, but Vehicles (especially tanks) were much harder to destroy. Plus...the MP40 never got the nerf it needed in the course of the game.

I remember when I was a child I asked my parentd for a COD, I was expecting some of the newer ones, instead they gave me this COD. It was my first cod ever, and i also played It on my first console ever, a PlayStation 2. Some years later i realized that this COD was the best they could have given to me. The music, the memories, the nostalgia... This game is a big part of my childhood, when I got my Xbox one i was very worried bc i couldn't find this COD and i thought that i would never play It again. Then one day i was just checking games and i saw It, I remember that was very very happy. I do still play it nowadays, and i'm very thankful that this COD have existed.

Call of duty 2 big red one and Cod 3 are the only cods (that I know of), that has actual working vehicles in multiplayer, I would love drivable vehicles to be brought back into future Cods.

Can't wait for an Update for the UI to process Backwards compatible games better. to at least reduce a small amount of Lag you get in an Emulator. When I played Halo Reach on backwards compatible it was okay, but as soon as a ton of explosions happen at once it lagged for awhile. Microsoft did say that they will release an update to fix that problem a little.
