I wouldn't define a show like GoT by its ending. With the right guidance and story material, assuming it will hopefully be provided by George, House of the Dragon can also become something truly great. The last two seasons of GoT is a joke. Hopefully once all the books are fully written and done, they will reboot the show and do it properly.
@@williamwhitebirch9191 yeah there’s a zero chance they would reboot the show. I also doubt those books will ever be finished, Martin has a clause that no one can write and finish books in the case of his death l.

Seems like HBO took the good from GoT series and ditched the bad (looking directly at you, D&D) so hopefully this is as awesome as it could be.

@@jay_ooh That's part of why HotD has renewed my excitement! Miguel was actually a competent one at his job, but D&D always overruled him on GoT. This time he's got that showrunner pull. Plus if you've heard his co-showrunner Ryan Condal speak with George, this guy is a fan who's serious about the source material and will give it the love it deserves.
