I love knit blazers, thanks for styling this one. They are great, especially if unlined and in a breathable fiber, for all but the coldest winter days where I live. I love how they still give some tailoring and shape, but are so much more comfortable than their more traditionally-constructed cousins, often less expensive, and many are washable, too, with care. Because of a substantial weight loss last year, I invested in four different colors: black, navy, beige and light blue. I will also continue to wear my beautiful cream one, even though it’s too big; I don’t think we’ll be able to get away with such oversizing after next Autumn. I got several great Ralph Lauren ones through Macy’s, on sale this last year and Nordstrom always has good ones, too. It’s still annoyingly, blazingly hot here, in the San Francisco area, and will remain around 100F in the foreseeable future. It’s so cruel for our valiant firefighters in their never-ending toil this year! On my insignificant, very personal scale, I really want to get back in trousers, etc., it’s been such a brutal summer. 💕For your great styling!

Oops, I goofed, I guess mine aren’t really sweater-blazers, I suppose “unlined-knit blazer” is more accurate, because they are cut like traditional blazers, shaped at the waist. I also really like your less-structured sweater blazer, especially for our extra-casual lifestyle nowadays, looks great. You are such a great stylist💕

Frumpy beige sweater. Possible roll up sleeves or belt to match purse.
I agree that the sweater runs on the boxy, shapeless side. And while I love camel, I would not choose to wear that color “up top” with Beth’s silver hair and cool coloring. Please don’t beat me up, ladies. Just trying to offer some constructive criticism here.
@@cherylkeys1284 the great thing about style is that it's personal. what you love i may not and vice versa. so pick a color that you love and translate the outfit to your liking. this channel offers inspiration that's open to interpretation. there's no longer one style fits all or right or wrong. only choices.
truly wish we would do away with the term frumpy. there's nothing wrong with not liking an outfit or a particular item. but why oh why do women still throw around phrases like mutton dressed as lamb or frumpy? style is either good or bad, not aging. and style is personal so if you want to roll up the sleeves then go for it. or add a belt to match the purse. what a boring world if we all looked exactly the same.
