It’s so reassuring that Albert Einstein, one of the smartest human beings to ever exist, was able to come to the same conclusion that many leftists are today, almost a century ago
It is shocking that a large share of people do not arrive at that conclusion and rather defend the oppressing structures of power to which they themselves are victim. Capitalists are like parasites to society. They make ordinary people nourish them and even sacrifice themselves to defend them. Just like in the "horror stories" we know from the insect kingdom.

Its seems so recent yet like decades ago. You read this back in march of 20 at the start of a traumatic time and a few months before George Floyd's murder, and now forward to november 2023, here we are with the chaos of capitalism and alienation continuing to accelerate. Yet Einstein knew the solution before most of us where born. Thank you 4 another great read.

That's good, but they are definitely possible, and socialism has been achieved. Capitalism is coming to an end and must be replaced with something; socialism is really the only possibility.

When socialism fully overcomes capitalism, the result is communism, which is the theorized end of the dialectic of class conflict, the end of class society.
I am from Latin America, and the Socialism that Einstein describes is NOT what Andres Lopez Obrador, Daniel Ortega, Hugo Chavez, Nicolas Maduro and many other modern political leaders think of Socialism. As he described it: it is the "Sum" of thought of the population, but all these leaders have created a new bureaucracy or the "Socialismo del Siglo XXI", Socialism of the XXI Century, which is pretty much an even worse system than Capitalism. Socialism would be for the benefit of the population IF ONLY IF you take the "Corruption" part out of the equation, otherwise it would fall under another "dictatorship". @@SocialismForAll there are many books out there, but most of them are in Spanish (since that philosophy was popularized in Latin America) but there is one that was translated into English that focuses in this region of the continent, the title is "Guide to the perfect Latin American idiot"

Albert's socialism was more aligned that of the British socialists post war. The socialism of democracy, welfare states and universal health care systems. Reached though none violent means.

That's still capitalism, plus some concessions to workers. But the capitalists still rule society through their capitalist state.
It's also not reached entirely through nonviolent means. Even these struggles for reforms have involved extended strikes and protests which were met with enormous violence from police and gendarmes.
