COURSE DESCRIPTION:
The main scope of the course is to create strong basis and fundamentals regarding the processes in the Petroleum Refining. We take a look to the Oil&Gas Industry briefly and continue directly with the Refining Process. We then make a focus in each individual unit operation in the refinery.
Learn about:
* Oil& Gas Industry
* Difference between Petroleum Refining vs. Petrochemical Industry
* Overview of the most important operations and products
* Market insight (supply/demand) as well as (production/consumption)
* Several Petroleum Refineries around the World
Unit Operations & Processes
* Refining and Fractionation
* Atmospheric Distillation Column
* Vacuum Distillation
* Hydrotreating (Hydrogenation)
* Blending
* Reforming
* Isomerization
* Alkylation
* Steam Cracking
* Fluid Catalytic Cracking
* Gas Sweetening (Hydrodesulfurization)
* Coking
Components:
* Fuel Gas / Natural Gas
* Liquified Petroleum Gases (LPG)
* Propane, Butane
* Sulfur / Hydrogen Sulfide
* Gasoline / Automotive Gas Oil
* Naphtha Cuts (Light/Heavy)
* Kerosene
* Diesel
* Gasoil
* Lubricants
* Vacuum Residues

Great project & very useful!!! Wish you success! Respect from Kazakhstan guys))
Thanks Beksultan! I really appreciate it! Hopefully I will visit Kazakhstan soon, Ive heard amlot of good things about the country, specially for motorcycling tours!
Love your videos. As a non-engineer working in the energy industry I found your videos to be extremely informative and helpful. THANK YOU!!!
Thanks! Im glad, and yes... I will be creating special courses for non engineers so you guys can follow along way easier
Fascinating. Outstanding work, I watched the video on Hydrotreating and saw the series at the end of the video! Will definitely be watching them all.
Great! Im happy you found value on them! KEep it up!
I'm just about to graduate from UC Davis' chemical engineering program and love your work! I stumbled into this major when I was about 18 due to an undergraduate research opportunity at my community college. Originally I wanted to be a doctor, but seeing how I'd just go into profuse debt, it steered me in a different direction. Then I worked in 4 different undergraduate research disciplines and decided against the initial academic route to graduate school due to the circumstances at the time. Being ignorant to both the engineering subjects and the respective industrial vocational pathways, you've really helped clarify some things for me. Keep up the videos, excited to learn what the culmination of this degree will bring in terms of jobs :)
Hey there! Im glad we stumbled upon each other! Youre more than welcome! Im glad you are happy with your career choice!
Fantastic information!
XD thanks!
thanks. make it more easier and detailed for understanding, thanks for making this video.
sure! thats the idea ;)
please also make a course on coal gasification, and Chemical Reaction engineering... your way of teaching is outstanding.
Yeo, Reactor Engineering is on its way! Coal Gasification might be a good idea for summer =)
sir, i am waiting for these courses very keenly...your teaching is best.
I have seen this course at Udemy also what is the difference between both because I am thinking about purchasing this course from Udemy
Yep, both are mine, the one on udemy does not get updated, will not get support on my behalf if you need it and you won't get the download able materials... Also you support me directly in my website =)... If you awant a coupon let me know
does the petroleum industry use humidification process?? why or why not? and where do they use it if yes?
Most likely air must be humidified for certain processes to achieve certain % humidity level
What do you use to edit this video?
iMovie + Videoscrib
Hey sir Aslamlikum
sir please make a course on water and waste water treatment. Please
consider it done!
What the references that u work on for this course
Many!
Check out the reference lecture
Do you offer certificate at the end of each course.......
Thanks for the video, it was very educating...
Yes, you will get a certificate when completing the course
Where i Can get certificat ?
How to get certificat ?
After so many search I found your video an eye opening for analysis process as chemical engineer, I am eagarly waiting a book you will publish. Now I am not a chemical enginner I am graduated from instrumentation engineer background presently working in petrochemical engineering. but read books on chemical a truely i lose interest whats the theory behind it. you can't use aspen unless you don't know a bit about chemical.... I am big fan of you.....Mr rockstar of chemical engineer. I want to be your student.
Sure Reshma! Thanks for your comment! And yes... You cant use Aspen Plsu software if you don't know the basis of chemical engineering! Its really hard actually even knowing about ChemE
How can i attend the class ?
You can access it in my courses website =)
@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy is it paid or not.?? please mention ur website sir.
it will be helpfull sir
@@shejinabdulla7669 yes, it is paid, you can see it below, on the price tags
ممكن كورس تكرير مترجم
in factorio you just use water and oil and bam theres petrolium gas
XD something like that!
