Thank you so much sir 🙏🙏 it's very valuable video for me Actually i am working in FCC lab that's why its very helpfull for me.
Nice to meet you
Hii sir 😊.. what is best program language for chemical Engi..
I have a video on that! check it out!... Quick answer: it despends, but anyshould be good!
I wonder why didn't Germany and Japan produce this en mass during WWII. They had huge problems with gasoline supply and methanol is a good fuel, and you just need coal (for the temperature) and wood (for the feedstock) to make it.
they did try to use synthetic fuels, but still, back then all these materials came from fossil fuels... Note that approximately 65% of methanol produced worldwide today comes from natural gas, and a very small % from wood. Remember that opearting with solids, and biomass is way harder, you need to have huge fields, cut them, transport, dry, chop into smaller pieces, and only then you can start creating some fuels
@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy From what I remember they were utilizing the Fischer-Tropsch method - conversion of syngas into hydrocarbons - paraffins and olefins. But here we're talking about producing methanol. Is there a technological difficulty level between those two?
Hi i want to become one but im not sure if im gonna like it which book should i read to learn
Maybe academic books woild be better fit for you (getting started)
Sorry if my question seems dump ,but iam in 1st year of chemistry engineering, actually have just finished it ,and i actually wonder why theres some certian subjects that i took this year ,you didn't mention ,like (organcic chemistry ,phisical chem.,polymers, math 1 2 3 ) so is it bec. That it is the basics i should knew it ,or it is easy to remeber and i will get exposed to it alot ,and thanks very much i really appreciate you for doing that vid ,as it enlights our way as students in the best understanding to that magnificent department❤
Hey there, those are mosly "chemistry" topics... its ok to know about chemistry, but the heart of Chemical Engineering is mostly Process Engineering; so its better to know how to design and operate unit operatins & processes, rather than how chemicals work under chemistry
@ChemicalEngineeringGuy yeah i got you ,thanks so much❤️

i love the course but i have some financial crunch to buy it now could you help me
for sure, send me an email and let me know about your particular situation
In an industry where distillation is still king, "Distillation Operation" and "Distillation Design" by Henry Kister are must-haves IMO. While slightly dated, the fundamentals and overview of all the relevant topics to distillation in these two texts is still the best presentation of the material for the practicing distillation engineer or designer that I have encountered. Its the gold standard for distillation reference texts.
Nice! I'm not quite familiar with those specific books, but true, especially if you are going to be working in Distillation Units. I tried to cover "basic" or "general" books as well
sir i want to buy course but havent got the money 30 dollars could u help me with a 10 dollar deal iv'e mailed you but no responce from you sir
For sure, I can make you a proposal, please re-send the email

Hi! I am trying to find the video where you explain how to solve on your webpage but I did not find it. Could you please send me the link? Tks
Perry’s is THE book for all chemical engineers indeed!
A fabulous book indeed!
Love the course content Emmanuel!
A super useful video my friend!
Love that you’ve covered this my friend! Seen a lot of this on the internet and in real life too, and you’ve given some great insights into the reasons! Great content my friend 🤝
how do i buy you a microphone?
I bought one after that course launched :) sorry about that!
HELLO BROTHER . I RECENTLY JOIN CHEMICAL INDUSTRY AS A GET WITH VERY LOW SALARY PACKAGE , FOR INCRESING MY SALARY WITH VERY GOOD AMOUNT , WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW
Can a MacBook be appropriate for a chemical engineer like me?Can all the software mentioned here be used efficiently with that?
Please can u make tutorial for packed column absorption column
Can you guide me for chemical engineering?
Thanks! I needed a video about it.
welcome my friend!
Thanks, your video helped me a lot 😁
im glad!
Brother what is the future of petrochemical refinary can you explain me i want to start my own petrochemical refinary it is good decision to start in 2024?
It is bright :) just imagine all the new processes that need to be adjusted for environmental issues + Industry 4.0... it is a good way to go...
My bachelor thesis for the chemical engineering degree was in ML applied to failure detection in process plants. It's a subject almost not applied in the industry yet. It's interesting to know other applications of the AI in the chemical engineering field. Congratulations and thanks a lot for the video.
thanks! It sounds an interesting thesis! The future is becoming Now!

Please may i ask a question? Is chemical engineering really bad for health?as it might cause some illnesses such as cancers... please answer me i wanna choose it as a major but I'm afraid this fact is true
not likely, most places are relatively safe, but of course, it may depend on the type of industry
What course it will suit me better, I am trying to get the aspen hysys user ceritifate Thank you for the value !
basic course will cover 60% of the content of the certification =)
@@ChemicalEngineeringGuy great !! Do you have any recommendations for the other 40?
@@KonstantinosAidinidhs read the help section, check online content, especially those modeling O&G applications, and truly, its mostly about being able to simulate quickly, since you'll be required to simulate and get results
Thank you, this is really helpful
thank my friend!
So in series what happens to the pressure of the second pump if it exceeds the psi rating? 2 pumps 10 GPM at 100 psi
Well, definetively ensure to work within the pressure range... if don't... you'll simply break your 2nd pump
Thanks
Welcome!
What you mean by conventional separator? There is unconventional ones? Explain plz
any "normal" separator... unconventional are speciallzied separators, that may be unique for the vendor, or the material you are using
I love this kind of content. Can't wait for the new similiar content. Keep it up sir!
will do, thanks for your support!
I would like to buy course but i dont have much money could u give it to me for 10 dollars somwhere that range
Sure, we can arrange thatz send me an email to contact@chemicalengineeringguy.com
I think this is a good course for mechanical engineerings too
@@firosiam7786 indeed, anyne working with pumps will be a good fit
Excellent! Looking forward to the new course.
Awesome, stay tuned!

Hi there. What property method did you use for the combustion reaction?
Most likely Peng Robinson
Can you give me a discount for course half off
For sure, just send me an email
Is Pseudo Reduced the same thing as this ? Like is it the same as what you did in this video? Or different process ?
wel... the main difference is on the BASIS Pseudo Temperature: Defined for non-equilibrium systems or specific models where classical temperature is not directly applicable. Reduced Temperature: Defined strictly as a ratio involving the actual temperature and the critical temperature of a substance.
I just graduated highschool and was thinking about going into chem E because I love engineering and chemistry. thinking about a minor in some nuclear energy or reactor design. wondering what you think of this in the current job market of 2024? would going straight into nuclear engineering be a better option or would chem E be sufficient.
Hi there, well, tbh, not great... I would rather focus in some IT tools, maybe process integration, optimization or Databases, Big Data, etc... where are you located?
Srsly contemplating going back to school and doing my Bachelors of Applied Science in Process Eng.🥲 That being said, what topics should I be brushing up on ahead of time to make life a lil easier for me. Thx in advanced for any help, may
Hey there! what is your background? no need to go back to school, there is lot of info out there!
Hey im a chemical engineering student. What is the minimum gpa you think is necessary to attain a good job?(out of 4)
Well... its not all about GPA, but for sure, 3.2+ is good enough... it really depends on: contacts, networking, your ability to land interviews, your ability to excell in interviews. Ensure to have some extra curricular or non academic projects
