The great Norm Macdonald, maybe the only comic who can feed off of an audience’s initial lack of laughter, just keeps going and by the end everyone realizes this was the funniest thing they’d ever heard. He had his own kind of humor that was so unique to him it can take a while to get him but a true comic genius.
Every time I find a new, previously unheard by me, Norm set, I laugh until I cry. Norm's memory will always be a blessing.

yea word. it bothered me the other day when i listened to him do a set in a room full of people who laughed every time he stopped talking. even he was annoyed with it you could tell he was flattered but bothered by it lol. it made me happy that he's so successful that ppl laugh at every sentence he says but of course it destroys the show

Norm is so fucking smart. So brilliant. And he is so ok with jokes bombing. I think he might have revelled in his jokes failing. Look at his SNL newsreels. He puts the onus on the audience to figure out his logic. But it is sound. And fucking hilarious.

Norm was one of the most unique and genius comics ever. Will never be another one like him.
It's a good audience.. Norms microphone is the only Mic picking them up. His Mic signal is fed to the recorder. That's why the level and quality of his voice is so good, compared to the audience sounds. I hope this clears up any confusión re the audience.. Afterall, it is a recording of "Norm Mac Donald!! (If you listen on headphones, it can all be heard.) Thanks for the nice quality recording. I liked the dog sending a telegram joke. In fact, loved the whole show. A real treat.

Man I love hearing Norm in a private show. He had so much material and could just transition so easily between bits. It sounds like he's lost his train of thought but he knows exactly where he's at. You can hear jokes from all 3 specials he released in this set I saw him in an interview and he said, depending on the audience he had like 10 hours of material he could use at any moment. Fuck I miss this man!!❤❤❤. Literally the best ever.

Oh man, as someone who wants to be a comic, Norm leaving us in 2021 tore me to pieces. I can even think of things he could have added onto his jokes as additional material, but...he's gone...and I don't want to take the premise of another comic's jokes, that's against the rules of comedy (as it's stealing someone else's joke that they came up with), but I really, really wish I could have written to him my suggestions that he could add onto each joke to get additional laughs out of the audience. Some of these jokes, I got the punchline, but I felt like he could have done a triple whammy with it, if anyone kind of gets what I mean, if he had more time with us, as any comic refines his jokes and makes them more and more elaborate over the years, Norm would have added those extra jokes, but this stand up special is more than adequate. It's a blessing. Norm, I personally miss you. Every single comedian who I looked up to in this world, when they have passed on, shattered me. Rest in Peace buddy
