How to make PVA solution for millinery stiffener or slime from PVA powder

- Sometimes people are afraid to make the Polyvinyl Alcohol solution themselves from PVA powder . With this Video there isn’t any reason to be worried.
The proportion : 30 g. PVA (5 heaped table spoon, 0lb 1.058219 oz) powder add 500 ml. (2 cups,
0.5283441 qt)
From 60 g of PVA powder I made almost 1 l of PVA solution.
I will show and explain how to use this solution as a stiffener for leather and silk in my other Videos.
Also, there is a short Tutorial how to make slime from this magic PVA solution .

What if the liquid doesn’t get jelly ? I fully dissolved grains before cooking it but after more than an hour it hasn’t become jelly yet
Maybe you mixed up the proportion and took too much water ? It doesn't have to be jelly, more like thin snot
@@galelinaflowers355it got that way before cooking it . I worked it a lot . There wasn’t any grain . The proportions were right . I used same one you used . 66 gr + 1 L of water
Hi Galina, thank you very much for this video. What millinery materials can be stiffened with this solution? Can you stiffen straw, sinamay or felt with it?
You can use it definitely for leather,felt and straw. Some of my client told me that she used it for sinamay ,but not 100% sure

Is it possible to convert this liquid into solid form again?
If you leave this liquid in the jar without lead, it will dry out, but it wouldn't became power back 😉
