Best Beaches? Best Food? Best Vibes? Welcoming to outsiders in case your a MOVING TO FLORIDA soon... We explore all that!!! #Florida #Miami
Excellent video, so much information, thank-you!
You are truly the best!! I honestly enjoyed your VIDEO.
Love it, Love It!!!
I like how you just ignore Central Florida just like everyone from Florida does.
Real Floridian here not from new york or central Florida đ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
Central Florida is nothing more than a hurricane Alley if people in the state can actually keep the f****** place built then nobody would forget
The count yer lucky stars when people stop ignoring it it gets more expensive to live there. And your favorite creek has 500 tourist spots in front of it and police posted up just to make sure you don't have too much fun.
â@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS bro I'm from Orlando it's still its own section fam Central FL
South Florida has more money overall than N Florida which makes it better. Good video.
Great video. I've visited Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Pinellas, as well as the Panhandle. You are right in saying that although the beaches are beautiful in the Panhandle and even AL on the other side, there's a very noticeable difference in the vibe and something definitely feels like it's missing compared to the other areas. I prefer the tropical or even the subtropical vibes of the Central region that you just don't get in the North.
I am from Orlando and it has always been paradise to me here in Central Florida with the best of both worlds.
Same here đ407/321 all day I'm 33, and been here in west Orlando/south Apopka all my life
excellent video đâșïžđ
thank you đđđđđđ
Near as I can tell, I'm like right in the middle just off the coast in Central Florida. Best of both worlds! You nailed it, just an Iowa couple soon to be retired with enough money to live on. Not looking to change anything just get a boat, do some fishing, see some sights, and get away from the brutal winter weather
Me too!! Just not sure where in Florida to go. So ready to exchange a snow shovel for a small fishing boat.

South Florida. But I'm biased since that's where I live. But in saying that if I could live somewhere else in Florida I would move to Ocala. I do love it there
Me and my friends/family have that same bridge moment you and Katie do but with the stretch of I95/turnpike right before Jupiter. Iâm always like âIâm back homeâ
North Florida is the Deep South, but once you get south of I-4, it's a whole different vibe for sure. South Florida is out of control on so many levels.
Southeast* FL is a dump now.
Great video!
South Florida is the best. Miami has its own vibe.
Miami is a dump now.
@@thedirtybubble9613 Thatâs your personal opinion. I love it here.
Miami is ghetto

Climate wise there are three or four zones to consider. (Having traveled and resided in Florida some 30 years.) in winter there can be a 40 degree difference between north and south Florida temperatures. Also, it may be noted that the âFrost Lineâ at Palm Beach divides north and south Florida re citrus and other vegetation. (Certain tropical plants do not thrive north of Palm Beach. Must be in south Florida to truly enjoy subtropical climate year round.
And even far inland plants get burned
This video is very interesting
North Florida- more chill, relaxed, less crowded, overall more peaceful, cleanest beaches, warm winters
Central- inner cities are busy but the outskirts have amazing communities to live in that are peaceful like north, hot all year
South- traffic, tourist, partying, snobs, most expensive, hot all year
North FL has cooler winters are you serious. Well, at least compared to the rest of the state. I live in North FL and actually have to use my heater when it gets below 45 degrees. We have days that get below freezing.
@@thedirtybubble9613 Pretty sure meteorologist consider these temperatures/climates as having "warm winters" even if it does get below freezing. Also warm winter is different than "hot all year" lol
Idk about the north being more peaceful, jax is one of the most dangerous places in the state.
@@bruhbutwhytho2301 I live in the panhandle. It's peaceful here. Definitely not peaceful in Jax which is far from me.
I love gardening and growing fruit trees , therefore South Florida is the best part for that. I love Naples area and it is the best spot for me so far.
Good job, Jose đ
Pros and cons living north and south FloridaâŠit just what fits your lifestyle and what you can affordable
Tbh I see Central Florida as it's own thing separate from south and north Florida. Palm Bay to Ormond Beach on the east coast and the Tampa/St Pete metro area up through The Villages and Citrus County on the west coast is what I consider central Florida. I don't really feel like I'm in North Florida until I get into Ocala or St Augustine. Regardless, all 3 area's are extremely unique to the country. In My opinion, I consider Central Florida the best region of the state. Great video!
Ocala is definitely north Florida
Tbh I consider Ocala to be an intermediate zone between Central and North Florida. The infrastructure and the way homes are built are in-line with Central Florida, but the culture is very much North Florida. I think Flagler County, or the Palm Coast area, is also an intermediate zone between the two regions
@@figmentofurimagination457 Ocala is a contrast area. Except for Gainesville and maybe Lake City, I think it's because there's just no real growth or development in that area of the state north of Ocala. The Suwannee river region is still old Florida. I notice the difference right away leaving Ocala on US-27 and heading over to Williston. Farmland, trailer homes, big acres, agriculture, southern culture, and not many palms. Even Gainesville has a much different feel compared to south and Central Florida. The homes and streets are structured differently and there's also a much bigger lack of Palm trees. You might as well be in the panhandle or in Georgia. The same thing can be said for Flagler County on the east coast being a contrast area. On one hand, Palm Coast doesn't feel outta place in central Florida town but Bunnell could feel like a town from Georgia.
I believe the real Florida everyone thinks about begins in Daytona.
@@figmentofurimagination457 I'd also say South and Central Florida are separated by how tropical vs Subtropical the area looks. That's why I would put South Florida truly starting in Vero Beach on the Atlantic and Bradenton on the Gulf. The increase of tropical palms and landscaping makes parts of Vero feel a LOT like South Florida than nearby Melbourne, which largely has a subtropical climate similar to Orlando and the rest of Central Florida.
So just leave out Central FL?
Wow its very interesting in Florida and I think it's better vote south Florida
I moved to the Destin area.
Super pretty.
But there are zero amenities.
I would have to go to Atlanta, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando, to get normal things.
So that really sucks.
Not sure if Iâm going to like it.
We will see.
Central florida is better than all them
But Florida overall is a dope place to be
ate
I was born and raised in Broward, had 2 brothers who lived in Orlando, i lived in Jax, with family in other random places in Florida as well, and i prefer North Florida. Cheaper cost of living, milder weather, less traffic being the biggest reasons. The one big thing i like about where my parents live in Fort Lauderdale is being close next to a big airport with many international destinations. But thatâs reslly not that big of a deal as i only travel internationally once a year at most.
every second iâm on the road in st. petersburg i feel like iâm going to die, NOBODY there can drive, NOBODY
Try orlando by the parks đđđ
@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS oh itâs hell
You should try Miami or Fort Lauderdale.
south florida vs central florida would be an interesting comparison
central florida is about to DRAG them
Well that's easy. Central FL is more like the US and South FL is more like Latin America.
@@thedirtybubble9613 but south florida it's not third world a lot of spanish is spoken in miami dade county but broward and palm beach county are more american
@@MrMarcantaya still more like Latin America and even the Caribbean.
@@thedirtybubble9613 central Florida is more like Puerto Rico and South Florida like CubaâŠ. North Florida would be the most âAmericanâ lots of drugs and crimeâŠ. Fun place
You should do a separate video for central Florida
Interesting about the Puerto Ricans being the most prevalent Latino group. I was shocked in Miami when the service workers were mostly from Central and South America. I love that Cuban food and it's hard to find anywhere in the upper Midwest.
Another reason I moved to Florida. As a Panameña, that's a fresh breath of air đ
Unless you're in Chicago, yeah hard to find good Latin food in the upper Midwest. Although Minneapolis is up and coming.
I visit Destin Jacksonville and Daytona and St Augustine
I like north Florida I was born in st augustine and after retirement from the Airforce I moved back and now have 14 acres and a nice home bought and paid for !! and decent paying jobs seem more common !! I'm making about 40 dollars an hour as a machinist !! the summers are just as hot and humid as it is in the south but we get a nice fall and we get a pretty cool winter 30s is pretty common in Jan and Feb and as for neighbors I have enough property to keep them away and I'm surrounded by potato farms and it should stay quiet and peaceful
Iâm here representing North Florida Panhandle (Pensacola)
I like north east Florida. I can drive on the beach.
With the increase of ppl moving down to Florida, they should consider a monorail that takes ppl to Tampa, Miami, Orlando, St. Pete, Clearwater, and Daytona Beach.
Can you do a video West vs East?
I love North Florida!!!â€
I grew up in the Miami area and yeah sorry Jose I will not ever consider Southeast Florida as a desirable location to be anymore. I just can't. If you enjoy huge crowds, traffic 24/7, miserable drivers, high cost of living and low wages, rude/racist people, stupid hot ass miserable summers, government corruption, insurance/medicare fraud, high crime and lack of amenities for young people, then yeah southeast Florida is for you.
You nailed it. The scenery is pretty tho
Miami has changed a lot in recent years. Itâs not like what it was in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. Besides the traffic, high cost of living, and being crowded, the city has gotten so much better
Miami ghetto I would only visit never would want to live there
@@figmentofurimagination457 It's gotten worse since the 90s and 2000s are you serious. I suppose it's gotten better if you're wealthy and loaded. Not for me anymore. Pretty much the whole state of Florida has gotten worse also since the 2000s. I live in the panhandle now and I do not want to live here forever.
@@KubaUbba Most of my family still lives in the Miami area. The only reason why I would ever even venture to that part of the state is because of family ties. That's literally it.
Both
I have a house in seaside fl(north Florida)
Thats gorgeous
I'm actually trying to leave south Florida and go to north Florida, just tired of the stupidity, the over priced everything down here. Everybody's brain is fryed by the sun down here. Seems like most people in the comments have only visited south Florida. Until you have to live down here you will never understand. I've lived down here for 20 years and I hate it more every single day. Everybody thinks they are sitting on gold down here. I just cant wait till south Florida is in my rear view mirror because I will never be back
Orlando is neither North, or South Florida.
Itâs not even Central Florida.
Orlando is the second largest city of Puerto Rico.
The differences are quite astonishing, I have family that goes to visits Disneyland or contacts me anytime their is a hurricane asking if I am alright and I have to keep explaining I am more than 7 hours away in NW Florida. People have this weird perception that Florida is a tiny state or a lack of comprehension how different it is on the region.
My wife is Colombian and imagine the shock the very first time she landed in Pensacola and I took her to Defuniak Springs, Jay, Century. She thought she was in Alabama and was surprised the lack of Hispanic culture, at the same time she learned of the true historical Spanish ties to these areas as this was all part of the Spanish empire and N Florida had historical architecture dating back to colonial days while S Florida was still a bog.
N Florida especially the panhandle has or had a strong brick industry due to high amounts of clay, higher elevation, I think the highest peak is 345 feet in Britton Hill, a large lumber industry due to the thick woods and a strong agriculture with lots of farms. This is the "old" Florida.
I always feel ashamed when someone compares Pensacola to Alabama as someone from Pensacola lmao
26:23 oh are you mistaken, the best puerto rican restaurant is in lakeland and you should check out downtown dining. getting tired of the stereotypes but okay đ
I meant to say âlake cityâ thats where the video was filmed in the background. đ€Š not the first time i confuse those two

@@FLORIDAHOODVLOGS thatâs sad, lakeland has two olive gardens and much more
I prefer North Florida because itâs cooler in the winter.
I was born in Winter Park and raised in Sanford in the first half of my childhood, I was then raised in Naples until my early adulthood, I lived in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with my family for a year and a half, and now I live in Charlotte Harbor right between Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte. I got much love for my home-state, but god is it hard to define it culturally, I can say southeast Florida, specifically the Miami Metropolis is clearly Latin Caribbean culturally, and that North Florida from the Jacksonville Metropolis to the Pensacola Metropolis is Southern, but Central Florida and Southwest Florida are hardest to explain. The Tampa and Orlando Metropolises are two of the biggest Metros not just in Florida, but also the entire country, but they are not as well defined culturally like for example the Miami, Atlanta, New Orleans, Nashville metropolises etc. When I think of greater Orlando, all that comes to mind is Disney and Universal Studios, whereas with Tampa, besides the Tampa Bay sports teams, nothing comes to mind. It may be appropriate to label the Tampa Metropolis a hybrid between Southern and Latin Caribbean cultures. The Villages is basically just one big ageist Gerontocracy, and so was Southwest Florida until recently. The Naples and Cape Coral Metropolises will probably become one Metropolis soon, and I consider them Miami colonies, whereas the Punta Gorda Metropolis probably will become part of the North Port Metropolis. Honestly if I were to try and label Florida culturally, although I rather us identify as simultaneously Southern and Latin Caribbean, we have different sub-regions. Southeast Florida is clearly the domain of the Latin Caribbean Miami Metropolis, North Florida from the Atlantic to the Panhandle, as well as a lot of the interior of the State is part of the South, Southwest Florida seems to be a hybrid Midwestern Snowbird and Latin Caribbean region, and Central Florida despite being the Center of one of the biggest if not the biggest tourism centers of the world appears to be a hybrid of all of these groups, the Caribbeaners (Latin and Non-Latin), Midwestern Snowbirds & Retirees, and the Southern Whites and African-Americans. But to go back on what you said about Orlando being the Capital of Florida, I honestly disagree, I think Lakeland should be, not to mention the Lakeland Metropolis (Polk County) is almost at a million people which would then designate it a large Metro. The reason I say Lakeland is so we don't piss off Orlando or Tampa, since Lakeland is in the center :D.
Maybe Brightline might help us better find a unifying Florida identity
Florida should really invest in building man made Hills/ Mountains throughout the Miami and Tampa Regions in Southeast and Southwest Florida and the Orlando region in Central Florida and Jacksonville Region in North Florida to combat the flatness of our state and make our state much more appealing because flat land is so boring we really need to distance ourselves from Louisiana and not be a flat state anymore just imagine having something like Vista View Park but instead of 70 feet hills itâs 300 feet hills where you can overlook everything and it will be in every region in Florida.
Love Florida as a whole, but prefer South Eastern Fl (especially Dade county). My biggest complaint is that there is no reliable mass transit(rail) system and everything is so spread out like an oversized suburb! Nonetheless, South Florida is truly an Eden. Gorgeous scenery, architecture, natural landscape and diverse cultures.

There's not much point to Florida if you can't boat year round. This can only be done in South Florida.
I mean itâs still 60s in the winter. Sometimes much warmer. You can boat but just dress properly
This is incorrect.
I get that you're a "real Floridian", but as a FL Native it's cringeworthy to hear any one refer to cities like Tampa or Orlando as North Florida. I also get that you touched on Central FL and explained why you left it out, but I'm still not sure why it's so difficult. FL is technically 4 states in 1. Pensacola to Palm Coast is North Florida. Daytona/Ocala to Sarasota is Central Florida, and Palm Beach/Ft Meyers to Miami is South Florida. The Keys are an island to their own, since they live in their own world. Boom the 4 states of FL. When I used to live in FL, my favorite city to live in was Orlando. Never dull, right amount of pace, and people from all over. More going on than Jax, but more calm than Miami, and you're in the middle of the Gulf Beaches and the Space Coast. Can't beat 407 life!
Yup 100%.
Yo south Florida has like 5-6 cities consistently on the 100 most dangerous cities list though and north Florida has maybe 1 or 2.
Jacksonville is pretty dangerous and pensacola is one of the most dangerous small cities in the country it just gets over looked cuz itâs a âbeach townâ
Iâm from the south and oh my god Florida gets way too much hate even tho itâs just north and central
It's earned it's reputation sad but true. Life long Floridian here.
Itâs crazy how folks down south claim to be the real Florida when North Florida is the oldest region North Florida is original Florida before people moved down south đđđ
I never heard anyone EVER say Miami was safe.

I never liked Tennessee Iâve lived here my whole life And winters here are bad u basically u have the hot summers with no breeze and the very cold winters
Not if you're in the Mountains. I visited TN one time in June and was surprised how temperate the weather was in the mountains.
Fernandina Beach is maybe 7 degrees cooler than Miami. Not a huge difference.
32 degrees different on a cold front
You're joking right? Fernandina Beach is right near Georgia. It literally gets 40 degrees colder than Miami does at times in the winter. Like it could be 28 in Fernandina Beach and 68 in Miami at the same time depending on how strong the cold front is.
Southern people be like âyankee came and took my townâ .. while being unemployed and selling a property to blow the money on drugs
Thatâs how we do it in rural Alachua county
North fl traffic fast paste asf fytb bihhđđđ
I refuse to classify Orlando, Inverness, Ocala as North FL. Central FL has a northern US vibe mixed with a Latin vibe (especially Orlando and Tampa) and an old school Florida beach vibe. North FL is not like the rest of the "real" Florida. People in Tallahassee and Gainesville only care about college football and guns.
fr lakeland feels like new england in the historic areas, all the little duplexes and bungalows make you feel like youâre in massachusetts and the people reflect new england. the place has changed a lot, going from stingy southerners, to a diverse area with all sort of people. all of central florida is turning out this way.
@@unfvzedmak I actually prefer Central FL over South or North FL because of the people. I do not like most southerners and I especially do not like the rude hostile vibe of southern FL. Central FL is like an in between mix. It feels more like the northern US with beach vibes.
I can tell who is from here and who is not when I tell them I was born in central FL and they say things like "Oh, so you're from Georgia". Imagine my surprise when they are always from New York or PA/NJ.
@@Phillydreaming Central FL is the real Florida IMO. What I call Central FL is from Osceola/Polk county to the south to Flagler county to the far north. You will find prairies in Central FL and the Florida Black Bear resides there. Disney World, Universal Studios and Epcot are in Orlando. Daytona International Speedway in Daytona. The space coast where NASA was in Cape Canaveral. The beach is accessible year round. And then there is Tampa. Nothing like South FL. Nothing like North FL.
I classify central Florida as everything from Brevard/Hillsborough/Polk/Osceola/Pinellas counties to the south to pretty much everything leading up to State Road 40 to the north. Central Florida is the most definitive section of Florida to me. Especially with Tampa and Orlando, you have just about a mix of everything that defines what the state is. Once you get north of Palm Coast and Ocala, you begin to feel like you're close to Georgia.
Florida was âdiscoveredâ by the Governor of Puerto Rico, Juan Ponce de Leon back in 1513.
