My 03 Ram 1500 5.7 hemi has a 5 or 6 year old exhaust on it and it sounds fantastic and will be louder than any truck. Yah. She’s loud. Gibson Performance exhaust system. When I bought it I modified the exhaust. Mmmmhmmm I love cold starts!! Also the truck has a power programmer and a K&N filter and a couple other mods (recently purchased the truck not too long ago) to make it a fun truck. It’ll pull! She got power. Revving the truck while it’s in drive will make it jump a little. It’s making a little over 400hp with the maximum power tune on it. Stock the older 5.7 hemi magnum makes 345hp. The truck has rear fender rot (repairing it)and high mileage but the truck is like new! My good friend took good care of it and it was kept in a garage all the time he just drove it everyday and it’s a northeast truck so that’s why it has its rust. He didn’t beat on the truck he took good care of it. For it being 203k miles it fires right up and it’s smooth. Runs great all I have to do with it is keep it going. Put good shit in it and do what it needs. Just recently changed all its fluids and looked it all over just need to do a few things. Extremely happy. This truck been all over and was loved by the original owner he bought it brand new in 2002. He said take great care of it and it’ll keep on going I’ll be surprised if it hits 300k! I’m last owner of that truck and it ain’t getting junked. I may put the same 5.7 in it and 5 speed automatic. Give it a second life because I’m gonna love it so damn much. I have a co worker who really enjoyed his 2004 1500 5.7 and he missed the truck because he sold it a couple years ago for a fucking Hyundai. I told him “why you didn’t buy a new Ram?” He bought a white Hyundai and he don’t belong in that car a Ram truck suits him. Eh. Lol. I don’t think he needs a truck so. Love your vehicle and it’ll keep on going that’s a 120% true statement. My friend (my dads long time friend) took fantastic care of his vehicle and it done him well. You do the same with any and it’ll keep on moving. Give it what it needs, don’t beat it up, make it look good, it’ll keep on going. Shit, people can have vehicles for over 25 or more years. Yes. You can own your vehicle from brand new and have it for many many years. You keep your hunk of metal in great shape it’ll keep on moving. 🤘🏼🤘🏼👍🏼👍🏼

My 03 5.7 gas guzzlin power house has a 6 year old Gibson performance exhaust system that’s in fantastic shape. Duals put the sides not straight out the back. Sounds fantastic cold starts...... yes. Bum bum bum bum bum those little growls are fantastic it rumbles. Yes. It’s loud too. People should look at Gibson exhausts. A lot have flowmaster and I do like them also. I’m really loving the Gibsons on my 03 5.7 Ram 1500. I have one video on my channel of when I got the truck in the owners driveway. It’s a couple second video. Pulled it onto the curb to let the rain water pour out the back. It was sitting waiting for me to buy for a month he did start it up to let it idle

How much is a valve job after the straight pipes burn em up?
Nah, I run open headers with turn downs that break just the bottom edge of front fire wall on my race car, unaltered stock 4412 holly 2 barrel carburetor, stock internals including the valves, minus a little more than stock cam and valve springs, stock 882 cylinder heads stock cast iron intake, no machine work whatsoever except block bored .030 over and heads re- surfaced, I’m turning 6200 rpm continuously in a big circle with slight lifting in corners and right back to re- acceleration for about 20 laps at-least 4 nights a month not counting hot laps and heat races on those same nights, our season runs from march to November around here and no burned up valves, I went 4 racing seasons on same engine before one of the stock rods finally gave up and we believe that was do to worn out rod bearings. The valves, seats and guides were ok except for one bent valve and one valve seat mate to the bent valve because of the lower end carnage that took place, So basically him cutting the exhaust that far back isn’t going to hurt the valves!
I'm bet Amy is going to get some complaints about the noise now. Good luck with that 😂

Get high flow cats, there are some cheap options but do that and get a full exhaust in and it'll sound much better
