The actual correct way to hold a puppy is to hold it by their fat at the back of their neck like the first guy
Reason 1 - the dog does not feel any kind of pain or discomfort.
Reason 2 - when you hold a dog by the legs , it's joints moves to the sidewise direction which is not a natural movement for their joints , they also feel uncomfortable that way and it's bad.

It is the correct way to hold a pup... it looks harsh but it is the correct way. You don't pick up a pup by the back or front legs.. The scruff is the area where there is NO pain.. the nerves shut down. All animals carry their babes like this. NOW, human babies are different.. you must support their neck and back.
