ive been a honda rider for years because of their reliability but my god after switching to a yamaha its hard for me to even get back on my hondas and enjoy them. still love em tho.
The 2006 ( last USA yr ) special edition black and yellow banshee and the orange and black 08 yfz special edition are the 2 best models yamaha has ever made I had both brand new the yr they came out had the 08 for 1 yr sold it before I crashed the thing bought it for 6,800 sold it for 8,500. I run all honda but love yamaha
Hell yeah dude bad ass. I think its just the wet grass that's making it bang on the limiter and your thumb on the full throttle switch lol.
Run it like it is and maybe down the road do a mod, run it again for awhile then see if you want to do more.

Nice! I have an '05 myself, basic mods + cam mod, Carb'd YFZ's are rippers. There's something up with yours though, it should rev out way higher than that. Try jumping up to a 180 main, and if you don't have it, switch to the NCVQ needle, you'll pick up some midrange torque and response. I would also put a fresh spark plug in it and check the valve lash if you haven't done so 👍
Yea it was the needle, it had a super thin needle, wemt back to the ncvq 3rd notch and shes revving over 10k now 🤙

I'd say keep her stock and get her running mint then introduce some mods a little at a time and see the progression from stock to monster. Personally I don't like a lot of people on CZcams that get some pile of shit and throw 10+k into it off the rip because they have money. Normal blue collar workin folk can't do that and do it in stages. I'd definitely like to see you do something like that. Awesome video as always dude.

It definitely seams like its geared for gncc racing they were not using 1st gr !!!, might have a rev box? Every peice of it is after market.

Only thing I would change would be that chain, not a fan of the colored eBay chains.
You should do a shootout with the banshee in zillah doing a race stock on the 450 then do the mods on the 450 and then do the race again with the banshee in zillah that be a cool couple of videos
Need to do the oil mod or it might destroy its self
Do yourself a favor and upgrade to a 06-08 swingarm. Adjustment is way easier
