      Needs to drop a tooth on the rear sprocket so not to hit the rev limiter.

    Good video. That bike really does need a taller final ratio. It cuts out at 256km/h and there's still plenty of power to push on.

    • @mototop_
      @mototop_  Před 4 lety +11

      right, it could go faster. But who really needs it? Not everyone has the German Autobahn :D With the shorter transmission it's better in high gears with low revs. So you don't need to shift that often

      @mototop_  Před 4 lety +12

      @@districtx8718 with its stock 143hp it's not possible to reach 299kmh, not even at the speedometer. A motorbike with this aerodynamic would need at least190-200hp to reach REAL 299kmh. To reach 299kmh at the speedometer maybe about 170-180hp will be enough. You better buy a different bike to reach this. I can suggest the H2 SX. It has enough power and it's very comfortable for touring and also pretty sporty to ride.

    For me dropping 2t or 4t on the rear sprocket will do justice to this bike. I've known fellow ninja1000 rider here did that. And that makes their bike less screaming on the hiway and able to reach higher topspeed before rpm limiter kicks in.
    But would you cruise at the redline? Lengthy red lining the engine will surely shorten the life of your engine.
    But do careful when changing the final ratio. As you'd turn out sacrificing the acceleration and as well top speed.

    • @mototop_

    I owned the 2011 version of that bike. I raised the front sprocket up 1 tooth. It didn't go faster top speed, but it felt better driving at any speed greater than 100 kms per hour. I found the bike to be very harsh with vibration with engine revs over 6000.Any distance at speed my nuts with go to sleep.
    It was a good bike to look at, not so much to drive.
