Your videos are great. Thank you so much for making and sharing these. You mention the social and political conditions that Cubans are living under. What is never mentioned is the REASON why the living for Cubans are not living an economically generous life: the US economic embargo. This is a conscious effort by the US government to strangle and starve the Cuban period. Period. The US is hoping to turn Cuban into a bordello for rich and powerful corporations to take over and extract wealth for American oligarchs. Every analysis of the situation in Cuban must begin with this dark fact. That so many Western commentators neglect this rudimentary fact (despite their best intentions) speaks to how blinded we've become to the harmful actions of our corporations and the governments who do their dirty work. If you live in America and want to help the Cuban people, the best thing you can do is support efforts to lift the cruel sanctions your government is imposing on Cuba. Thanks once again for your videos.
Thank you so much Paul.... You are 100% correct about the U.S.'s goal to strangle Cuba into submission. Our justification on the U.S. treatment of Cuba is a double standard. We trade with China and Saudi Arabia, why not Cuba? The economic blockade is surely apart of the issue but not all of the issue. The Cuban gov't needs to be better at supporting and spuring economic development, agriculture production and developing stronger supply chains.

But that place is nowhere near Havana. Not being able to speak or understand certainly causes me to pull my guards up. But I also miss out many things by doing that.
@Keenan Lambert I saw you socializing with the locals in Spanish. I wonder if Havana is different than Cayo Coco. Where I went. Nobody understand English. Even the ones from the resort only understand basic English. And the local area I had people talking to me. But more like gesture for they were speaking Spanish to me. So I haven't been yet to Cuba but have traveled latin america. I'm white. I stand out like a flag when I'm walking around and most of the people from that part of the world are darker than me. (so hot and I get sunburned easily). So my question is do you think since you are obviously darker skinned than me do you think it helps you to fly under the radar as far as being a target for the locals? For me not all the time but I have to fend off this group sometimes so much it is a negative on my trip experience. Beggars and hustlers. I obviously am an outsider and I just don't blend in. It's good and bad. I have been to Philippines once and I had a target on my back. Never really felt safe there. But doesn't stop me from traveling as I really like to go places. For the first time I think its important to stay close to Old Havana.... The second time - stay in Vedado as Vedado has newer buildings and newer/better spaces. Please filter for an apartment with Wifi.
Hi Ron! For you and the wife I would recommend a different apartment in La Habana. www.airbnb.com/rooms/9210756?source_impression_id=p3_1684767528_vAXDZzQUMsdNUvPg (The WiFi is way better here) Let me give you the whole process. You would save $200 per person by flying out of LAX instead of PSP. Say you go LAX to MIA to Hav.... (Round Trip seems to be $342 right now) You have to buy your visa at the departure gate in Miami. 45 mins later you will be in Havana. As soon as you exit the terminal, turn right and the taxi's will be to the far right and ready to go to Havana. $25 USD to town. Change your money on the black market - DO NOT use the official channels. Have fun!
I used this cover because I wanted your attention….. You guys are 2 times more likely to click on a video if there is a woman in there…. What is a passport bro to you?

It's unfortunate what the perception of the movement has become. It started out as a travel infrastructure/networking group for hardcore travelers of color. It then got big and attracted a lot of rift raft... I don't travel for women but due to the nature of this market I have to use women as a hook.
@@KeenanLambert198 hey man, so you said for the first time you suggest staying in or close to old Havana. can you explain why here over Vedado? also, can you recommend a place with wifi and english speaking hosts in old havana? planning a trip for next month
There is no such thing as a place that is crime free but comparatively speaking Cuba has got to be one of the safest places on earth! If you prefer go to Colombia and get scoped by a chick or stabbed, shot, and or kidnapped by gang members. None of that occurs in Cuba, just sayin
Brilliant video bro. I’ve just watched scarface for like the 3000th time 😂. I’d love to visit Cuba one day but always been skeptical about it. Big fan of the channel sir much love from England 👍
You will only spend 50 euro a day but.... If you are trying to get crazy at night 100 in Vedado and 75-80 in the hoods. The cabs will aim to rip you off at night .... bring a cab budget too.

So, I did not have the oportunity to really explore on my own as it was a very strcutured schedule everyday. Can you share some of the round about ways of going without them stamping your passport? That is other than having 2 different passports. They did not stamp my passport when I went the first time. They just stamped a piece of papaer and put it in my passport and took it hwen I left. Obviously, out of respect for me bringing in the US dollars. Don't know if it still the same. I know some people go byway of Mexico and Jamaica. Not sure if any of that if is still good or not. Thanks

I’m going to Havana, Cuba on the June 17th? Any suggestions on where to stay?
For the first time I think its important to stay close to Old Havana.... The second time - stay in Vedado as Vedado has newer buildings and newer/better spaces.
Please filter for an apartment with Wifi.
@@KeenanLambert198 Appreciate it. What’s a reasonable price to pay for a taxi?

Hi Ron! For you and the wife I would recommend a different apartment in La Habana.

Let me give you the whole process. You would save $200 per person by flying out of LAX instead of PSP.
Say you go LAX to MIA to Hav.... (Round Trip seems to be $342 right now)
You have to buy your visa at the departure gate in Miami.
45 mins later you will be in Havana.
As soon as you exit the terminal, turn right and the taxi's will be to the far right and ready to go to Havana. $25 USD to town.
Change your money on the black market - DO NOT use the official channels.
Have fun!

I would love to go to more English speaking places but the analytics indicates those videos wouldn't go far. :-(
Great video, very entertaining and helpful but your cover picture is very passport bro.
I used this cover because I wanted your attention….. You guys are 2 times more likely to click on a video if there is a woman in there….
What is a passport bro to you?
@@KeenanLambert198 interesting but I get the cover shock value but the video was far from the cover pic. Passport bro for me is someone who only travels for sex and filming girls asses. Their dollar goes far in these countries and they think it makes them kings when they’re losers in the US.
It's unfortunate what the perception of the movement has become. It started out as a travel infrastructure/networking group for hardcore travelers of color. It then got big and attracted a lot of rift raft... I don't travel for women but due to the nature of this market I have to use women as a hook.
I’m going to Cuba when the US lets us go
We can go now. You just have to buy a little visa at the final departure gate before Cuba with your credit card.
@@KeenanLambert198 what’s the cost and thanks for the info

There is no such thing as a place that is crime free but comparatively speaking Cuba has got to be one of the safest places on earth! If you prefer go to Colombia and get scoped by a chick or stabbed, shot, and or kidnapped by gang members. None of that occurs in Cuba, just sayin

With everything going on in Cuba, I can't fathom how these people still have a "night life" and time to party. They get what they deserve honestly.
I get what you are saying here but Cubans are not taught to protest and to speak up and directly at the gov’t
@@KeenanLambert198 they are fully aware of how much better life is outside of Cuba. They see plenty of their people make a run for it each day. They already protested in the streets in 2021... bro they can protest again if they wanted to.
@@RealNiggaBob that wasn’t a large scale protest…. It’s not in their DNA to press against the government… and fight for reforms and freedom… Activists get marginalized and/or jailed… We can’t judge them from our perspective…. I’m curious why they don’t push back…. But for them…. They question pushing back as it comes with a risk of getting jailed…. Why the trouble when you can just leave?
