DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Review : The Pros AND Cons

- I've had my DJI OSMO Pocket 3 for 3 months now and in this video I share a few of my thoughts about what I love about the camera and what I would like to see improved!
The video was shot on a VERY cold and frosty morning in Cove and Kilcreggan.

Morning! Yes. It’s a mix of the Pocket 3 and my DJI Air 3. I am still blown away by the footage from that drone too!!
DJI have truly got some magic in their products and think everything through before launching anything new!
The drone is great for establishing shots and getting a unique perspective and the pocket 3 is absolutely hassle free for my speaking parts!😊🏴
Took it all over Mexico on vacation. The tiny screen was very misleading but when I got home I transcribed the video into DaVinci resolve and was astonished the video is absolutely spectacular. I did not bother with the D-Log nonsense and just shot it straight out of the camera and I loved it.
Glad to hear it!!! The normal profile is more than good and it really seems like it is not essential to use DLog. The only time I think I’m going to use DLog is if I need to do a heavy colour grade across multiple scenes. That would only be to match shots from my drone, my R5 and my Pocket 3. If it is a normal vlog video, then I won’t bother!!

I’m glad I’m not the only one who found the conversion kit too saturated. The grass was a shade of green not seen on earth. It forced me to learn more about color grading.

I laughed at your ‘grass’ comment!! For me it was the branches in the trees way in the distance!! I’ve found that if you apply the LUT to footage that was taken on a day when it’s overcast and dull, it works brilliantly! If, however, there is even the smallest amount of sunshine and colour, it goes MAD very quickly!!!!🤣🤣🤣

This video is really well put together, really enjoyed it. If I had one piece of constructive feedback it would be that a lot of your b-roll transition sequences are from a drone rather than from the Osmo Pocket 3 - little jarring, I was expecting to see more shots from the OP3. Excellent video though man, got yourself a new sub here.

Wonderful advice on this camera David - I have been considering upgrading from the Osmo Pocket One which I recently found tucked away in a drawer and just started using again!

Just need to get some money together. But the footage from it has been great. The microphone has a top quality sound considering your outside
