    How many strands of each color did you use? Very beautiful! Making one for my granddaughter.

      It all depends! on the width of the one you are going to make, and also the thickness of your yarn. The yarn that I used for this was very thin, so for some color I used like 50 strand, and others 30 strands.
      Also take in consideration the colors that you want to POP (for those used for strands).
      Good luck!

    I love this! Thank you so much for the tutorial.
    How long did this take?
    Also, did you have to use a staple gun or just a regular stapler?

    • @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191
      @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191  Před 2 lety

      Thanks! I used a regular stapler. I did it in two days. I would say 4hours each day (8hrs total) but I had help with the cutting of the yarn. Hope yours come out better than mine. 😁

    • @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191
      @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191  Před 2 lety +1

      Hello! I cut like 20 pieces for each color, because I used thin yarn. If it was a thicker yarn I used less.
      Thank you!

    Can you tell me what size yarn you used? I see on one of your packages 100 grams. Is that what I would go by? I am in love with theses pieces. I can’t believe how easy they are compared to the price on Etsy. You did a beautiful job and you chose my favorite color pallet.
    I just took a look through your videos and I LOVE your creativity. New sub and I’m looking forward to binging on your channel. 💕

      @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello, yes!, That's the size I used, and is the soft cotton used for knitting baby clothes I think they also call it Milk cotton.
      Yes it is easy to make, but depending on the size you want your wall hanging it is a little time consuming.
      If you make please share you photo.

    How did you measured the right side to go over to the left side? Also what items are you using to hold the sticks while laying the yarn?

    • @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191
      @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191  Před 2 lety +4

      Hello! To hold the wood stick I used a clothing rack, with type S hook.
      To measure the yarn I just cut a string and play with it to see how wide and the length I wanted the wall hanging to be.
      Thanks for watching!

      The must time consuming part, is cutting the yarn, my suggestion is get a helper to cut the yarn, other then than It took me like an 1hour to put it all together.
      Hope it come out great!

    Disculpa podrias desirme cuantos hilos lleva cada uno de los colores que le pusieron y las .medidas ? por favor le agradesco mucho saver gracias saludos

      @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191  Před 2 lety

      Saludos, Disculpe la tardanza estaba de vacaciones. En realidad la cantidad de hilos depende de la cantidad de diferentes colores que vayas a utilizar y el ancho o grosor del hilo. En este caso como utilize hilo fino entiendo que utilize como 20 hilos por cada color. El largo depende del ancho y el alto ( cuanto quieres que baje el loop) .
      Si tienes dudas me puedes volver a escribir.
      Muchas gracias!

    You say you cut your lengths to 5’ … how do you make sure they are exactly 5’ when you are wrapping and tying them .. I notice you had a lot of extra over hang at the ends …. Don’t the strands need to be exactly even to get the look … seems if there is any discrepancy the piece would look odd ???

    • @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191
      @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191  Před 2 lety

      Hello! you are right.
      Sorry about that, but I had a little helper cutting my strings and didn't cut them exactly 5'.

      @@creationsdesignsbyjessica2191 I guess my question is if the strands aren’t exactly the same length will the piece look uneven …? .. I’m just about to start one but I’m a bit nervous as to how exact I have to be ? … and it looks like you wrapped your pieces around the strip of wood ? .. is that correct ? … sorry for all the questions I wasn’t clear on a few things from the video…. 🙈🇨🇦

      @creationsdesignsbyjessica2191  Před 2 lety

      @@amg8497 you are right! My suggestion is to measure the height you want your piece, cut 1 piece of cord/strand and make the U shape, play with that cord/strand until you have the height that you want. The wider you make your U more wide the piece is. It also depends on the wall. But yes all the strand should be the same lenght.
