@@drob9673 .
GREAT VIDEO!
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you!!
I came here just looking for something to tell me how to change the shutter speed on my camera… left with a wayyy more complete understanding of how my camera works! Great video!
most the tutorials ive seen just talked alot and had me frustrated hearing what they had for breakfast and how their day went and make it so hard rather then just saying exactly where its at instead of keeping me in suspense so i can watch a 30 min video when you covered it in seconds. thanks again
I really appreciate the kind words ;)
This is literally one of the best tutorials for understanding how to shoot in manual! I've been using the a6400 for over a year now in the full AUTO mode because it's great! But now I feel like I have a brand new camera! I just went outside and properly exposed a picture in manual mode and it feels great! Learning the exposure triangle has changed the way I plan to shoot! Thank you!!!
Thank you very much for the comments Alex and I'm really glad the video helped you expand your knowledge ;) Jay
This was EXTREMELY helpful! Thank you so much!
Im just starting out in photography and just got the A6400 and it was so confusing but after thus video it makes it so much easier thank you so much man
Great video. Thanks for the help!
Stellar explanation and presentation for these concepts. Especially when you used the footage with the ruler to explain depth of field . . . Thanks so much for this!!!
The best explanation of the iso, aperture and shutter speed triangle I've seen. Thank you.
Superb video, obviously has stood the test of time. Thanks in 2024
So good and helpful! Thank you!
Best tutorial out there. Thanks so much!!!
Thank you!!
Just got the a6400 as my first camera and I had NO IDEA what aperture, shutter speed, and ISO were doing, or how they interacted with each other. I now have a basic understanding of it all, thanks to this amazing tutorial! Thank you so much, man!
Thanks for sharing!
OMG!!!!! your video helped me soo much to understand my new camera. I had seen ALOT of videos but none took the time to explain step by step and what each button did and how they would help. You are my life saver, as I am days away of soccer games and band competitions that I want to take pictures of my kids.
Absolutely Amazing!
in 24 minutes you've taught me more than my father ever has
Well I'm happy to hear my video helped you out and also sorry to hear about your father :(
LMAOOOO!
@@Ruthlessbone yooo 😂😂
Thank you so much you cleared up the whole issue I was having trying manual mode when I’d often get awful photos because I failed to realise my iso levels. I think I’ll stick to shooting in auto or aperture mode and once in a blue moon try the shutter mode for that water mode or traffic pic
A great video... really helped wrap with wrap my brain around these three important aspects! Thank you!
Amazingly helpful! Thank you so much.
Best tutorial ever, thank you so much!!
Thank you very much for the comments and kind words! I'm really glad you found the tutorial helpful :)
This is the easiest to understand review ever. No bullshit and straight to the point. Thank you. Subbed
Awesome explanation ❤
Splendid Video. Thank you Jay
Insanely helpful tutorial didn't understand any of that before this vid!!!

Best Tutorial for this camera, Thank you! I'd love to see more on this camera's functions and settings.
Thank you very much and what kind of tutorial did you have in mind? Which functions and settings are you curious about to be specific?
@@Jason_Hermann
Low light shooting. And the other mode. Like The "P" mode and the other SQ and the one next to it...thanks..🙏🏾🙌🏾
just purchased an a6400 recently and this was a really great breakdown since I'm just started getting into photography, thank you alot!!
Awesome, thank you!
Great instructional video!
So helpful! Thank you!!
Awesome video! As an absolute beginner I really appreciate that you repeated the differences and relationships between aperture, ISO, and shutter speed over and over again. It really helped the information stick! Thank you!
Awesome, thank you! :)
This is an incredibly informative well put together tutorial. I came to this knowing nothing about Aperture, Shutter Speed & ISO and came way with a great foundation of knowledge. Just superb! Great work.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for the kind words :)
im in school right now and this video taught me more than my instructor. thank you!!
lol, you are very welcome John ;)
Thank you so much for making this video! It helped me quickly to understand the triangle and how it works!
This is the best tutorial I've seen so far. I used to know at least some of these things back in the 90s but after that have forgotten most of it. I recently bought an a6400 and now I'm learning again to use these features instead of the auto-mode. This video really pushed me a giant leap forward to the direction where I'm heading to. So enormous thank you for making this video and keep up the great work you're doing. I also had to subscribe to your channel as I most definitely want to see more of your stuff in the future.
Thank you very much for the nice comments and I'm really glad you found the video helpful ;)
Indeed
agree!!!
I agree!!!!
Agree! 🙏🏽
Hey man, new photographer here. Just wanted to say this was such a thorough and well explained video. You answered so many questions I had. Thank you so much. Amazing job breaking down how everything works together. Permanently bookmarked this.
Awesome, thank you :)
I'm commenting again to help the algorithm, this video hasn't been exposed enough, this is literally the BEST video for this camera period!
You are THE BEST! Thank you for this video!!!!!
i just bought a6400, as a beginner (read: auto mode camera guy), this video really helpful.
Awesome to hear and thank you for the kind comments :)
Enjoyed watching this video. I own an a7r2 and found some interesting points that I didn't know before. I have a question, in the video, there is a discussion about using manual mode and getting the speed, focal length, and ISO settings so the meter indicates zero. When I have done this, there and put the settings so I have a zero on the range indicater, there are Zebra stips running through a portion of the view which indicates overexposure. Should I adjust to remove Zebras or leave the level at zero? Hope this question is clear.
Extremely useful video, well explained! I am saving this video to look into whenever i need. Thank you so much!
Great video. This helped me a lot 👌👏
Super video! I applauded for $5.00 👏👏
Thank you very much Nick :)

Thank you very much, another beginner here. i am waiting for my Sony alpha 6400+ sigma 30mm f1.4 to arrive. Your tutorial greatly appreciated. Subbted for more too.
Glad it was helpful and you are going to love that set-up!

Same gear here too +3batt. This video is very helpful, thumbs up from north Africa 🇩🇿
Same gear!!! 😀
I’m waiting for mine to arrive now. Also a beginner how’s it going with your photography brother ?
Today I realized i'm an idiot, I spent a good 20 minutes searching for how to bind the left dial button to shutter speed when you can just change the shutter speed by ROTATING the dial...
lol, you are not an idiot Kyle ;) These things take time to figure out and when I first got a Sony camera I had no idea how to do it either!! I had the same issue when I reviewed the Leica D-Lux a while back. That camera you need to physically control to change values and I was baffled at first and needed to read the manual to figure it out. I was shocked how it worked, and was amazed I couldn't figure it out after I knew the answer. Thanks for the comments and have a great day ;)
Yup. I was about to return this camera when I saw this comment. Now my camera is good lol thank you for this comment
Me too although that's how I found this video which was helpful.
