    Only suggestion i would say is also make a mask of the background. In the final product the fence gap was slightly skewed and made it more obvious. Cool tutorial though.

    Thanks so much. I don't know how to use Photoshop and was able to finally get it after a while. Followed step by step going back and forth until I got it. I suggest to people that if you have more than one person in the picture, make sure you do not make lines through/over their face as well. When I finally get to the warping it warps everyone and it's hard to recover after. I re-did mine making sure the selections were over bodies not faces and it made a huge difference and saves time instead of trying to recover smiles or mouths. Hope that helps someone👍🏾

      You can also refrain from using the warp tool altogether and just use the Liguify tool and simply push the lower neck up under the isolated chin. Liquify has a freeze option so you just paint over the other areas (including other people) so that your "pushing" has no effect on them or the other areas you chose to freeze.

    Wow. That AHA moment when you used the warp tool and I went OMG that's incredible. I think this is a technique that will work very well for certain applications, and it's definitely one that I can add to my tool belt since the process is pretty straightforward.

    This background was pretty basic. a busier background would show the warp more as I first noticed the board warped. That is why I use the liquify tool and freeze the pixels.

    I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong but after I click to invert, nothing happens when I copy and paste. I and not getting a new layer & cannot figure out how. I'm using a MacBook Pro.

  • @HalxFilmStudio
    @HalxFilmStudio Před 3 lety

    Why you use path? Its unnessesary i think. And i think better is to use not warp but liquify. Its more easy to push up the lower part of face. Greets

    I did exactly as the tutorial but when I applied the path the marching ants always went to the top of the photo, NOT the bottom. When I inverted it my layer was blank?

    • @NaturallyEssence
      @NaturallyEssence Před 3 lety +1

      It took some trial and error for me too until I got it. Make sure you have the correct layer selected when doing it. Just Ctrl+Z a few steps back and try again.
