He was a true virtuoso of the electric Blues guitar. He died far too young at 68. You're in Kansas City, Missouri. That's Samantha Fish country. If you haven't already done so, you should check her out. She's a ripping Blues guitarist and vocalist. She even plays electric Cigar Box Guitar and kerosene can guitar. You should check out your home grown talent. Two of Samantha Fish's smokin' tracks are, *Bitch on The Run* and *Shake 'Em on Down.* Have a great one!
Alvin Lee was know as the fastest fingers in Blues/Rock. You should watch Help Me live. I've been to a lot of concerts and Alvin Lee was the best! At least as good as the Rolling Stones.

Alvin was a very under rated blues player, I don't think he ever got the recognition he deserved. It was said he had the fastest fingers at Woodstock.
