Alvin was a very under rated blues player, I don't think he ever got the recognition he deserved. It was said he had the fastest fingers at Woodstock.

Check out his live performances at one of the Fillmore auditoriums. There are clips, and full footage on YT. Alvin Lee was "shredding" before it became a thing. Very underrated player. RIP Alvin.

To me that was Alvins crowning achievement. Also, one of the big three. Alvin Lee, Gary Moore and Rory Gallagher. In my opinion. Thanks for enjoying the song.

greatest overall for his time and ours....guitar ripping...songwriting, with variety, lead singing also, entertainment level IQ of 10...he was like larry bird as he brought his team together....but credit where credit is due....leo lyons was elitist level bassist....frank

Greetings from Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Alvin Lee was a master of the Blues guitar. *The Bluest Blues,* is just one of his legendary Blues tracks. His style of playing, was instantly recognizable. He was a true virtuoso of the electric Blues guitar. He died far too young at 68.
You're in Kansas City, Missouri. That's Samantha Fish country. If you haven't already done so, you should check her out. She's a ripping Blues guitarist and vocalist. She even plays electric Cigar Box Guitar and kerosene can guitar. You should check out your home grown talent. Two of Samantha Fish's smokin' tracks are, *Bitch on The Run* and *Shake 'Em on Down.* Have a great one!

Alvin Lee was know as the fastest fingers in Blues/Rock. You should watch Help Me live. I've been to a lot of concerts and Alvin Lee was the best! At least as good as the Rolling Stones.

How about another cover? That even involves 2 of the songs original band members? Black Sabbath's "Neon Knights" as done by Batio-Appice-Sarzo- Cristea?
From LIVE @ GoDps Music Studios. Vinnie Appice was Dio's Drummer....Sarzo was the Bass Player for a LOT of the bands back then....M.A. Batio was from Nitro, and Cristea? Melodia Cristea from Liliac....filling in as Ronnie James Dio...
