Yājūj and Mājūj, in Islamic eschatology, two hostile, corrupt forces that will ravage the earth before the end of the world. They are the counterparts of Gog and Magog in the Hebrew Bible and the Christian New Testament. They are mentioned in suras 18 and 21 of the Qurʾān, the holy book of Islam.

Narrated by Zainab bint Jahsh: That one day Allah’s Apostle entered upon her in a state of fear and said, “None has the right to be worshipped but Allah! Woe to the Arabs from the Great evil that has approached (them). Today a hole has been opened in the dam of Gog and Magog like this.” The Prophet made a circle with his index finger and thumb. Zainab bint Jahsh added: I said, “O Alllah’s Apostle! Shall we be destroyed though there will be righteous people among us?” The Prophet said, “Yes, if the (number) of evil (persons) increased.” - Volume 9, Book 88, Number 249.

"Until, when he reached [a pass] between two mountains, he found beside them a people who could hardly understand [his] speech. SURAH AL-KAHF AYAT 93
They said: “O Dhul-Qarnain! Verily! Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog) are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?” (SURAH AL-KAHF AYAT 94 )
He answered, ‘The power my Lord has given me is better than any tribute, but if you lend me your strength, I will put up a fortification between you and them SURAH AL-KAHF AYAT 95
Give me pieces (blocks) of iron,” then, when he had filled up the gap between the two mountain-cliffs, he said: “Blow,” till when he had made it (red as) fire, he said: “Bring me molten copper to pour over it. Surah Al-Kahf Ayat 96
And so the enemies could neither scale nor tunnel through it.Surah Al-Kahf Ayat 97
He said: “This is a mercy from my Lord: But when the promise of my Lord comes to pass, He will make it into dust; and the promise of my Lord is true.” Surah Al-Kahf Ayat 98
Until, when Ya’juj and Ma’juj (Gog and Magog) are let loose (from their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every mound. Surah Al-Anbya - 96
