  • North Korea has a military nuclear weapons program and, as of early 2020, is estimated to have an arsenal of approximately 30 to 40 nuclear weapons and sufficient production of fissile material for six to seven nuclear weapons per year. North Korea has also stockpiled a significant quantity of chemical and biological weapons. In 2003, North Korea withdrew from the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Since 2006, the country has been conducting a series of six nuclear tests at increasing levels of expertise, prompting the imposition of sanctions.

    Many missiles that are shown in the parades are usually models xd the only real ones are those that are launched in tests, north korea is not capable of creating nuclear weapons quickly for the simple fact of being poor korea XD
    In addition, another interesting point is that the few nuclear missiles it has are slow missiles if we compare them with modern missiles, if North Korea launches a nuclear missile against the USA, they can be easily intercepted, apart from the Pacific Ocean there are interceptors, ships to combat threats, in addition to satellites, it detects them just at the moment it detects a launch anywhere in the world
    In my opinion, the nuclear threat from North Korea is not as threatening as that fat man wants us to believe.
    The real threat is China, not North Korea

      Russia and the United States are the only countries with about 6,000 charges (strategic intercontinental), Russia has about 12,000 more tactical nuclear missiles, almost everything that flies and fits in size has a nuclear head, including the C400 and C500 anti-aircraft systems. I don't know how much the USA has. At the moment, launches from the mainland of Korean missiles can be intercepted by Sm6, I think their submarines with missiles are more dangerous if they are on patrol far from Korea. And yet ... Korea is "China's bad boy" very convenient by the way. Japan once caused a lot of evil to everyone around, China has not forgotten. Korea remembers (both North and South).

    These are impressive war machines...that are immediately overshadowed by any modern military. The statement that the country would be hard to invade without heavy casualties is very accurate but that is the case with most any country and in this specific case has more to do with the leadership of NK not caring about it's own people than any invading military.

    • @DantesTyphoon
      @DantesTyphoon Před 9 měsíci +1

      @@user-co3uc8vt7e yes I apply the same logic. Ukraine's success has been largely and openly due to other countries having a strategic motivation to shadow fight back Russia and little to do with Ukraine leadership. I could rant about this topic for hours but turning it back towards NK, you bring up an interesting hypothetical comparison. Countries like Russia and China would actually strategically benefit from helping NK in a full conflict and you'd probably see similar success from NK to what we see in Ukraine due to shadow support from those other nations and not due to NKs failure regime.
