    I couldn't find a tutorial to replace my Porsche Macan's brake pads and I found this. They are identically the same. Thank you very much, you saved my money . Thumbs up!

    Great video. Is it safe to put the backup jack stand where you have it? Didn't see that jacking point on the owners manual.

    Are the pads and the sensor wires supposed to be exposed like that or am I missing a cover piece? Thanks for the tut by the way! I've already finished the first tire!

      Mine were exposed like this as I film in real time. Did you get it done?

      @@512TXSDIYI got the front pads done quite easily! I'm doing the rear pads today, which requires a little extra step due to the e-brake, so we'll see how that goes. Thanks so much for the awesome tutorial!

      Better hop on Amazon? :-). You can probably use a big flat blade screw driver as well.

      I used a box wrenc after I got the pads out and wedge it on the caliper. Easiest step in my opinion

    were your pads semi metallic or ceramic and do you have any squeal after driving on them for a bit?

    • @512TXSDIY
      @512TXSDIY  Před 11 měsíci

      Believe ceramic. Did you need the Amazon link?

      My Audi brakes were squealing from day 1. I tried to have it fixed from the dealership and they refused. I got tired of it and replaced the 3/4 used pads myself. No more squealing
