As a dude from Latin America, I think the 2019 origin of the meme is wrong. I remember quite vividly around 2016 (or even much earlier) that there were quite a handful of people over on our continent making Dorime memes and jokes, even proper comedians were making jokes about it on TV. So, my guess is that the meme died out around 2017 or '18 but resurged in 2019.
I might be wrong but I thought it was something that was worth bringing up.

In Brazil there are two other reasons why this meme is huge. There are some hilarious versions of this song played as brazilian folk as in “dorime bregafunk” or “passinho do ameno” that became very popular. In the meantime, with the release of Netflix’s The Two Popes, somebody found a picture of two cute rats dresses as popes and called them “dorime” and “ameno” referencing the song. Together with the praying dog called Latire, the dorime zoo is, until now, the greatest brazilian meme of 2020.

And the fact that you unironically finished a comment with “boiiii” really shows how shitty hispanic/Spanish humor tends to be. Some of us still use rage comics unironically (specially Spanish people), with shitty punchlines like “like a boss” (and not even the slightly funny version with the frog, which is only funny because of its shittyness) and “friendzoned”. This song was used as a meme in latin america when natural disasters happened or when talking about conspiracies (like the 2012 end of the world thing). It's also used when in a bad situation, with captions like "me before the test I didn't study for". The song is not gibberish at all. It's about witch hunts, like most of the album, each song being a part of the same story, this one about the chased people finding where to hide and fight back (or something like that). The song even has a video to go with. Btw, the meme seems to had resurged with the WWIII thing

Before "Ameno" came back as meme in 2019/20, "Site dos Menes" did a joke about this. It was a little "comic strip" of a guy teachin the A minor scale ("Lá Menor" in portuguese, pronunciation resembles "Ameno") in a guitar to a student who makes the pun. In the last frame, the teacher says "Do Mi Re", to resemble "Dorime".

If you went to the actual Ameno official video, you'd see that the song has been a meme since it's release for different reasons, a lot of people tell how they are "og" for knowing the song from other memes (different from the Noxious one) before Dorime

It actually has meaning. The repeated words are perhaps for emphasis or just to fit in with the melody. Read them while eliminating the repeated words. Also switch “disclose” with “reveal” (that might have been the original meaning anyway). Hopefully you don’t do this at night or alone...just to be safe

The Catholic religion is not only popular in Spain. In South and Central America probably around 70% of all the population identifies as Catholic. People here really like to pray out of irony to get good grades and the meme was repopularized when the end of the year in most Latin countries was near and all the final exams where around the corner.
