    I had bought plastic card holders, sort of like these, when my grandsons couldn’t hold their cards very well. They worked but these would have been so much nicer. I’m going to make 10 for my daughter’s preschool class. I’m sure she will love them. Tfs! 🤗🤗

    So nice to see you back. Make sure you take some time for yourself, so there’s no burnout. These are so cute and easy for us sewers. I can see how they sell out so fast. This is something you can make all thru the year, and have them ready for your craft sales. It would be cute with kiddie designs for the little ones card games too. I heard the sirens in the background, and was expecting a hunky fireman come climbing thru your window any second. I see those racks of Blank CD’s at my local thrift stores all the time, literally for Pennies Just another buying option. Enjoy your last craft sale. I’m sure everyone looks forward to your items very much.

      Thank you so much Yvonne, believe me if a Firefighter 👩‍🚒 climbed through the window I wouldn’t even take time to stop the video. You would just see the Firefighter whisk me away lol 😂

    Can this be made larger? for games that hold a lot of cards? like uno or large games of samba? maybe with a fourth layer? just curious, we play those kind of games a lot and travel with 24 decks of cards often. so having something like these that are foldable and lightweight would be terrific! but we would need larger pockets.

      Give them a try, they make great gifts! Just make sure if your doing them on your sewing machine to increase your stitch length to 5.0 and if you are doing it by hand do loose stitches. Hope they turn out fantastic!
      Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and take care. 😊

    Curious how did they sell? Like how many did you make to sell at the craft fair. I have my first craft fair and wondering how many to make.

    • @tammyscreativecardsandcrafts
      @tammyscreativecardsandcrafts  Před 5 měsíci

      They sold fantastic! I made over 20-25 and I sold them all. One tip I will share with you is to display some playing cards in one or two so people will know what they are. I sold them for 6 or 7.00 each

    Awesome tutorial! Would it still work if I used cardboard or chipboard in the middle instead of the cd’s?

    • @tammyscreativecardsandcrafts
      @tammyscreativecardsandcrafts  Před rokem

      Hi, you could use chipboard or thick cardboard as long as it’s the same size as a CD. Hope that helps 😊

    These are so cute. Have never seen these before. What kind of fabric(s) do you use, please?

    • @tammyscreativecardsandcrafts
      @tammyscreativecardsandcrafts  Před 9 měsíci

      Thank you, I just use cotton fabric that’s works great! But I would use a nice strong thread. Not cotton because that breaks too easy maybe a heavier polyester. Hope you enjoy making them. 😊

    • @Joyce-lq6gm
      @Joyce-lq6gm Před 4 měsíci

      I used carpet thread. BUT if you don’t have an industrial sewing machine carpet thread WILL damage your sewing machine
