I build a lot of things and use a lot of equipment that help take me on adventures. I have a bunch of great products I use assembled in my Amazon Store. When you buy something at Amazon from my list, it doesn't cost you any extra and I get a very small commission that helps this channel grow. Check it out it: www.amazon.com/shop/greategret

Thanks for sharing! That looks like a great route and a great time. I rode my first and only century almost 20 years ago in August in a chilly 55° drizzle. We thought about bailing several times but stuck with it through 102.7 miles. Check that off the list. Now I'm 61 and my longest gravel ride this year was 51 miles with only 300 feet of elevation gain near Phoenix.

Please keep making videos, I’m new to biking and your channel has been one of my favorite.

Thanks for the reminder to set a goal and not letting your mental game get in the way. Having a riding companion certainly helps. There is a 50ml ride I want to do with my son before he goes back to college

I'll tell ya, Matt, it wasn't easy to let the mental game go until mile 63! I needed this exprerice to remind myself for future rides. I bet that ride with your son will be amazing!

I want to ride all the way from the northern part of Colombia to the southern Patagonia. That’s the goal!

I already met my work goals, so currently I just want to travel more and climb more mountains.. there is no one single thing at this moment in time but I just know in a few weeks something new will pop up and I will be like “I have to do that!” 🤣

I love those moments where something pops up and you just need to do it! That happened with the Low Rider S for me. No regrets!

@@GreatEgretAdventure haha yes! I’m pretty impulsive, after some thought a kayak is something that keeps popping up in my “to do” list, so maybe some kayak camping down the river, my new tent cost a fortune though so will be having to top up the toy fund first lol

Did my first 100km recently. Shooting for at least one 100 mile ride this year. Feel like the long reach of my Wolverine and my bad back is working against me.

You can do it! I’m with you on the long reach and bad back, though.

Thanks! It’s on Strava. Both the planned route and the actual route are on there. The link is in the description.
