Really excited for this but what will the weight be. And you said it’s pretuned but in the DVR there appears to be a lot of shakes/wobbling

How much flight time do you get with the 6s 1300 mah batteries and carrying a naked gopro? And do you use those for long range flights or free style flights?

I seen Bot's vid and thought someone had ripped off your 5in Mini-Long-Range look, lol. CONGRATS on your own line, that's super super cool!! You do such an amazing job, designing, testing and refining your frames and quads. I've built and flown 2 of your frames, the 3in MLR and the Calimero 65mm 3D printed frame, I still have the 4in MLR in a box ready to build. I love the flight characteristics of the 3in MLR, she's one of my favorite rigs to fly. I look forward to seeing what REKON FPV will bring to the table in the future. wow, looks so cool!! I was wondering if I can use a 4s 1550mah lipo on the 4s version and if yes, then how much flight time will I get if I‘m easy on the throttle and cruise only, no freestyle or punchouts
These are very good engineering choices, nice ! I was looking into building a drone with similar specs, but I don't see how it could be better than this one. I wish you the best for your company, keep improving your designs !

Dave_c !!! This is awesome man, when the explorer came out, it was the first BNF drone I ever bought, mainly because it had your name attached. I always built my own toothpicks and freestyle quads and whoops. Can't wait to buy one of these from you! Good luck with it man.
While we are all waiting for CNY to end(and restock to come in), I hope to see some long range flights on this with the 4s Li-ion pack :) Might be cool to see how it stacks up against the Flywoo explorer LR for long range. Cheers!

I’m loving mine. I highly recommend it. It’s not just a long range. Like Dave mentioned It handles freestyle with a full size gopro like a champ! I posted a few videos ripping it 🤓

This is my favorite quad I have got 3 of them 6S version: 2bnf and one myself build.
I designed 3D tpu modified parts.

Awesome, will be ordering this for sure! The foldable antenna is genius! The only thing that sticks out to me is the yellow XT60 plug, I think black would look much more aesthetically pleasing on this quad. Easily swappable, though.
6s version seems already sold out? In that case, I may wait for the next batches that are supposed to have motors in red with your branding.

Beautiful rig! Now I can’t decide if I want to build the ummagawd ultralite or just buy this bnf. But I really wish I had the patience to start designing things again but the older I get the less patience I have lol. Think ima be a grumpy old man one of these days. Haha. 39 going on 70 some days as much as I’ve beat my body up over the years from sports, military and car racing. These wet and cold winters in Louisiana kill me. At least the sun is out today.
I need to be able to tighten the arm bolts. I can use an allen wrench on top, but how do you secure the bottom to prevent it from rotating?
Great part, but what do you do about the jello? I see so many videos where people have problems with vibrations. What can you do here?

Have you considered 3s instead for those 3000kv? With 3x18650 would be pretty light overall

I started flying FPV with 6S so I mainly have 6S batteries but if I'm going to be building/buying li-ions anyways, would you recommend going with the 4S or 6S version? I will be doing some mountain surfing with a decased Hero 8 and would like the longest flight time possible. I don't need lots of power for freestyle/punchouts. Thanks!
Congrats, I saw a vid from Albert Kim on this drone this morning! I don't run HD, so wasn't too far up my alley, but glad to hear you will have analog and 6s. The CSRF antenna placement looks oddly placed, but understand some of the reasoning. Those arm nuts, seem a bit questionable based on AKs review. Never used hglrcs gps unit, but its probably just a re-badge. I would like to see that camera mount closer.
Thursday is when mine will be here. I have a couple 3000mah batts that I used to use with my Hex and normal Explorer(before I lost both of them :(:(:( plus 2 more hex's lol....
either way.....the flywoo 3000mah li-ion that I have will be great with this right?
so far I love anything you put out there...the Explorer was a bit under powered while the HEX was my first FPV drone and will always be my favorite!

Wish you added compass 🧭. And they did a lil lower kV try to get slightly lower flight times.
I'm still about to order all 3.. and I have explorer lr and Dave c miniLR 5" already lmao.. 33mins 4S Li'ion repeatable flight time.. still need to tune it though.. and add arm braces
I want one. I've had success limiting output for high kv motors in the past. What's your thoughts on getting the 3000kv and using "set motor_output_limit = 0.87" in cli?

I received my Rekon 5. The interlocking arms are not very tight and there is a slight wiggle. Do I need to just re-tighten the red nuts or should I place some material in the interlock area to make the fit tighter ?

I would love to try one - looks the goods , love the pod design . I think if the camera was just an extra 5mm further forward the props be out of view. Might have to put this guy in the shopping basket. Keep up great work.

can you use 4s lipo on 6s version for longer flight time or is it too underpowered and is it still more efficient to use the 4s version? I have 12 4s 1500mah packs and may as well use them if I can so just wondering which version would be better for that battery. cheers.

What flight time do you expect to get with a Li-ion 4s battery ?
been getting back into flying, my last was a geprc mark3... really thinking about getting into express LRS and upping my range. does it still have pretty good freestyle performance? im not mr steele or anything, but i do like to flip around and hit gaps. i hate decisions! 😢

Have you done much testing with slightly bigger motors? I've been seeing great results with 2203.5 and 2204. Especially when sub 250 isn't a requirement.
We have some in the making that will be tested soon
