What is Borderlands the Pre-Sequel?
Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel! is an upcoming first-person shooter video game being developed by 2K Australia with assistance from Gearbox Software and to be published by 2K Games. It is the third game in the Borderlands series, and a prequel to the 2012 game Borderlands 2. It is expected to be released for personal computers running Linux or Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on 14 October 2014. The rumored existence of the game was first reported on 7 April 2014, and it was officially announced two days later on 9 April 2014.
Similarly to previous Borderlands titles, the game combines FPS gameplay with mechanics common to role-playing video games (such as quests, character building and randomly generated "loot"), and collaborative multiplayer campaign gameplay. The storyline of The Pre-Sequel focus on four playable characters-all of whom were NPCs or enemies in previous Borderlands games, working as henchmen for Handsome Jack, the antagonist of Borderlands 2.
The plot will follow Handsome Jack's descent into villainy, focusing on his escape and capture of the Hyperion company's base on Pandora's moon Elpis. The game will expand upon the engine and gameplay of Borderlands 2 and introduce new gameplay mechanics, including low-gravity environments, freeze weapons, and oxygen tanks which can be used to navigate environments and perform special attacks.
The storyline of The Pre-Sequel will focus on Handsome Jack and his attempt to escape from his exile on Elpis, the moon of Pandora, and capture the Hyperion Corporation's moonbase for himself. The main characters - Athena, Wilhelm, Nisha, and Claptrap - will begin the game as henchmen of Handsome Jack. Jack himself will have "morally good intentions" at the beginning of the story, but will slowly transform into the "horrific, evil villain he is in Borderlands 2 that seems to have enjoyed cutting people's eyeballs out with a spoon."
Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford has stated that the game's plot would explore how villains "can be morally ambiguous, doing possibly bad things for the right reasons and then have that reflect what [Handsome Jack] is doing. There are several quests in the game where literally the only narrative purpose they exist for is to show you that the bad guy you're fighting is not actually a horrible person."
The story will be told in the form of flashbacks, at some time after Borderlands 2, with Athena acting as the narrator. Other characters in the series will often chime in and comment on the story, including Tiny Tina, who is said to "narrate" alongside Athena during the player's second playthrough.

As soon as I saw the name I smiled when I realised
I took it as a Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood reference. The armor Ed faced in episode 8 or 9.
This whole route also littered with chests, not even the ones AFTRE you kill Red Belly, so, it is worth to be running the whole course just to be able to collect all the loot. There are 5 chests (3 normal and 2 rare ones) + 3 chests after you kill Belly, 1 normal on the roof, 1 rare and 1 Monestone chest (where you spend 40 moonstones to open it) so, 8 in total, I think, may be I missed 1
when i first beat red belly, the midgets infinitely spawned even after their deaths, and i got like ten moonstones a minute.
I farmed this boss for xp
If you want to farm him it's best to start from the second gates (Claptrap on the other side)
You can jump on the thing by the gates with first 3 enemies and onto the wall, that way you can save some time and won't spawn more enemies
My only complaint about the RedBelly farm is the long trek EVERY TIME.
I had 74 moonstone and I didn’t know that u will lose the moonstone if you get the chest I have 14 now
It takes 40 moonstone not 60

It's 2024 and I finally am giving the presequel a real shot. I'm leveling 6 characters and slowly soaking in the story and the maps. Surprising no one K6 has the 1st video of value
enjoy the game. Pre-Sequel, like Wonderlands is great, but lacks endgame.

i got the gunerang the first time i ever beat red belly from that chest you showed. then the second time i got the striker
Never had a bug where enemies never stopped spawning, but once I've got Red stuck in an unaccessible area and only was able to kill him with aspis thrown in his general direction
hey Ki11ersix I've actually gotten purple rarity out of that chest. I managed to get a purple rated Jakobs sniper the last time. In other words? Keep farming!
tip for people who just got the game like me: two purple shotguns plus striker in the grinder with moonstones=high chance of legendary shotgun

Last couple times I came here, the scavs kept spawning and spawning... stupid-easy to kill and seemed to occasionally drop a moonstone. Didn't take all that long before I had a really good amount of stones gathered. Also, this is a decent spot to work on certain challenges, due to the easy-to-kill scavs continuously spawning.
I'm only 8 years late responding, but I farmed this guy for 5 hours yesterday using this route and not a single legendary drop! :( RNG for this game despises me apparently. Thanks for the vids.

Had a feeling this was the one that was the farming spot. I had a scenario where I had killed belly in a second wind, but all the lil skav just kept coming.
I used them as a quick payday for the chest, even got a couple levels and lots of new gear

I was playing and for some reason all my damn moonstones just disappeared I had like 70 and it just went away

great vid...and you just accidentally answered a question i had. i just beat this part of the game about 10 mins ago and i swore i had more moonstone than what it says i have...i didnt notice when i opened that chest that it charged me that much...now i know. all i got were 4 purple and 1 blue pistol.. i wish i watched this video 10 mins earlier, id rather have that moonstone back.

I had a bug where the first gate didn"t open. I found a work around by standing on the railing to the left and double jump up onto the wall.

for some reason i didnt get legends from this boss and any other bosses do you know why cuz its rlly annoyimg cuz i cant get the striker and all that sort
i know finnaly know i just didnt try enough but now i finnaly have the striker and than i have another problem he is very low lvl and im lvl 30 so if i get it its rlly low lvl do you know how to fix that is there a way to get them higher lvl

U gotta do a mission then he should be a boss u have to fight then after u can do the save and quit as many times as you want and just kill him over and over but you might have to turn in the mission first...
