  • The ANC has invited all political parties to be part of the proposed government of national unity after it failed to secure a majority in the 2024 general elections. The party’s NEC met yesterday to deliberate on the issue. The ANC says it hopes to use this form of government arrangement to focus on dealing with important governance issues in the country.

    GNU = 62%(ANC + DA) + 38% (others) is not a fair deal at all. Other parties are being asked to camouflage ANC/DA coalition.
