Look at this great man. At 88 he was still singing with so much of passion. TMS had the rare genius of putting so much of emotion in his singing. Even if u just heard the song without the visuals, you wud understand the scenario. When he sang "Atchem yenbathu madameyada" it made u you feel brave and energised, when he sang "Adi yenadi rakkamma" it made u want to get up and dance, when he sang " malarntha malaraathe" it made u feel like crying, when he sang " pattum naane bavamum naane" it felt like Lord Shiva himself was singing, when he sang "ullam urugutheiya Muruga" it melted yr heart with bakti. I dont know of anyother singer who had that much of tonation in his voice, coupled with perfect pronunciation of tamil. He was a rare gem, a real treasure of the tamil movie industry. We miss u Ayya, rest in peace.
