You can easily see Theodorou Island from Chania. It's a quick 15 minute boat ride away. We purchased a boat ride for 10 Euro per person to visit the island. It was a fun trip and worth it.

I've actually been to platanias and dived right next to Theodorou Island, saw the plane wreck too. It was epic.

I tried to get to it but it’s a little deeper than I could make without a tank. You don’t want to touch it though. War grave rules.

I remember swimming over the wreck well.amazing spot.super clear you can see all around you atleat 60 meters.being from new zealand this was rather special place

You can take a boat trip directly behind Porto Platanias hotel and they stop at the plane wreck. Ther are other ways to get there but you’d have to check online.
